    Tennents advert - Caledonia

Everyone knows the advert with Frankie Miller/Dougie McLean Caledonia and the laddie coming back from London to have a wee red T.

What is the pub? I'm positive it was Bianco's at the west end (now angel share), my mate is convinced it's Malones in Leith.

    Any input?

    Bianco's for me, 99%.

A love/hate place, sometimes good but always pretentious iirc

It's funny seeing that again after a lot of years because in my mind it was the Cafe Royal he went into, but it's clearly not.

I've not watched it in a long time but, I think I would be a Bianco's man.

The newspaper seller on Princes St was Drew Kennedy. My old next door neighbour and the guy that built the Trampoline Centre in Porty.

Malones in Leith would have been Papas at that time. Was a pretty small place compared to the current layout. Your mate is wrong on that one for sure. I was also a regular frequenter of Biancos and would agree it definitely looks like that.
