We talking cauldron, atmospheric atmosphere or unique atmosphere here?

Hard to keep up with their media pals views of it all. What with that and their indiscernible identity I just can't keep up.

Does anyone actually still buy into the Tynecastle 'atmosphere' stuff?

Away fans certainly don't, even their own fans don't.

It's truly bizarre that the media still persist with it.

To be fair, plenty fans say Tiny is their favourite away day, now, that may well be cause their team wins there!

Personally think it's hugely overrated. It's just an ancient dump.

Grandad Craig poleaxing the keeper yesterday and having the equaliser chalked off was comedy gold, but he took so long to trot up the park it would have gone platinum if the ref had said sorry Craig fulltime , you shouldn't have bothered.

Im watching the prematch of the Marseille game at the moment, the commentator has just described the velodrome as ‘the cauldron’. Hearts fans will be fuming…surely they have copyright??

Does anyone know from Jambo pals what's happening with their Bloom deal or are the owners completely in the dark over what's happening with their club?

I wouldn't be surprised if Budge wants to keep her 17.4% shareholding that she got for free, after she got repaid her £2.5m (plus interest at market rates) but kept 17.4% for herself.

Maybe that's the stumbling block, she doesn't want to sell. And why would she? She's now coining it in earning more interest on the c£3m loan and no doubt will keep coming up with major projects she'll need to lend them millions for (training centre next?). After all, it's minority shareholder Budge that makes the decisions and the majority shareholders only find out about them when her Hibby brother turns up with his crew and their JCBs.

Meanwhile all these projects continue to grow the value of the club (therefore increasing the value of her 17.4%) with the donors paying for them but Budge puts in nothing. They pay for it and she profits via interest on the loans and increased value of her shareholding. In return, all the fans get is yet another relegation battle. 😂😂😂

It's free money for Budge - probably one of the only people on the planet managing to make a profit from "ownership" of a share in a football club. The suckers keep putting it in and she gets her cut of it through increased net asset value, interest on the loans, family contracts for the building work. The fans are dumb enough not to understand but one would have thought James Anderson was smart enough to realise this.

I'm related to one Foundation of flumps giver and he is adamant Mrs doctor Budge ain't going anywhere soon, she has her freebies and the ability to influence whatever she wants.
He is smarter than the average flump but he can't really say what he gets and can influence as an "owner". He quickly stopped giving as soon as Budge "saved" them and the natives are getting restless again.

We've been saying since it started the foundation of flumps will fade away as results and regular relegation take their toll but they just keep giving!

The more Hibbies that tell them they're fools the more determined they are to prove their foolishness.

    It will continue.

    A modern day miracle.

There was a stat produced yesterday, from a jambo, on the £50m"additional" revenue that Hearts have had since going bust in 2012, reconstituting, and then exiting administration in June 2014

It was an update on this 2023 story (at which point the figure was £41m extra revenue since 2013)

    https://www.edinburghnews.scotsman.c...n-cash-4410505

It was (roughly speaking) saying Hearts have had circa £20m from Foundation of Hearts donations and £30m from Benefactor donations.

That is on top of all the usual revenue that every club has access to ie regular gate revenue, hospitality, merchandise, TV revenue, prize money (home & Europe) and player trading.

Fifty Million Quid. Beyond what everyone else raises normally.

    That's Fifty Million Quid...
To see Hibs put you out the cup after a money-spinning replay and win the Scottish Cup.

To see Hibs knock you out during Hibs run as defending Scottish Cup Champions/Holders, after another money-spinning replay.

To see Brora and Petrocub. To see 2 (soon to be 3?) demotions. To see Brirkikara. To see Cathro-ball and Crtichball.

    Fifty.
    Million.
    Quid.

It's a huge amount of money. Approx 4/5 million a year. Add in the euro group stage millions too. Often wonder if Hibs had a similar opportunity if we would have made better use of it or ended up doing the same as them.

£50m non-operational income should have had them comfortably clear as the third team in Scotland, that’s a huge amount of money in Scottish football and I’m not sure what they’ve actually got to show for it.

You could even say it's £76M if you count the debts that were written off as part of the CVA, leaving Lithuanian pensioners and poppy factories alike penniless.

Its pretty frightening when you look at it like that! And does show that money can't guarantee the consistency required here to stay ahead of the pack, it needs a lot of hard work and the right people behind it, which I think is still hard to guarantee at our levels.

It’s comical reading their positivity blethering. They’re turning our and Aberdeen’s present ‘success’ as a real point in their favour. Apparently our Europe participation next season guarantees them third place as we won’t live in the cauldron of European and domestic football. I think they should focus their attention on getting back on track before making heady assumptions.
