    Programmes

Are there any programme collectors out there who could give me advice.

My brother passed away recently and on clearing out his stuff I've found bags and bags of programmes . Mostly from the 70s and 80s. Majority of them are hibs , I have one from Arthur Duncans testimonial and others of that ilk .Theres a lot of Man Utd ones and a charity sheild one played at Wembley in 1977 between Liverpool and Man Utd signed by the Man Utd captain Martin Buchan (that's what it looks like anyway)

I've no idea how to work out how much they are worth or what to do with them.

I'd be greatful for any pointers

Condolences on the passing of your brother Jay.
Unfortunately programmes from the 60s onwards are not worth much as they were mass produced, especially Man U !

Hibs wise, games where George Best played are worth a few quid , the 7-0 game obviously, and a few postponed issues are also very collectible and valuable

You could take them to Brian at Almondvale Programmes in Albion Road and he would give you an idea on value. You could also possibly bundle them up into seasons and try your luck on eBay

Condition is also important. If they are folded, creased etc then they are virtually worthless
