Mayo absolutely humped by Dublin so the long wait to win the Sam again goes on, and Derry knock out Cork. Yesterday's winners were Kerry and Monoghan

All-Ireland football final is today and throw-in is 3.30pm, weather is looking pretty grim for the big game.
Bookie has Kerry slight favourites to win at evens while the Dubs 5/4. Kerry looking to retain the Sam though they haven't beaten Dublin in the final since 1985.
Here is a wee idea of who the rest of Ireland and beyond will be shouting for in the final, I'm not sure Cork is correct either!

I’ve never really watched this before but it’s quite interesting. Difficult to get your head round initially them running with the ball in their hands and freely passing forward with hands and foot.

All tied up with 12 minutes to go, both teams fluffed their lines in scoring areas a few times in the last five/ten minutes

Enjoyed that today even though I had no idea what was going on most of the time. A sport I could get into I reckon.
Loved the bit when someone got hit somewhere near the baws off the ball and it was a free kick/shot and not a lot else. If that was football there would have been mass handbags, 3 red cards, a 5 page spread in the paper and a week of news coverage.

Kerry were unlucky but Dublin just had that bit extra in the tank imo. They’re unlucky that Clifford had a pretty poor game, if he turns up they win that match by a good few points from what I saw. My bet came up though so **** them.

I played it once over on Achill Sound when I was a kid, they put me in goals and we got humped. Didn't help the team that I had no idea that being a goalie at Gaelic wasn't the same as being one at football hereLast edited by BS44; 02-08-2023 at 10:06 AM.
