I went for Tannehill. He's just fumbled it and is on minus points

    Atlanta all over Giants 17-0.

Tannehill has turned out to have a decent week actually!

I've only had Albert Morris and Andre Johnson start so far, both doing well. If Legatron could kick a couple of 50 yarders as the game closes out then that would be handy too.

I agree with you, our game won't be decided till Monday, we'll be close after today's games...I'm hoping Seattle pass the ball to Tate plenty tonight in the Gangnam Bowl...

Nah, it's all about Lynch again this week! We'll just keep Rice as WR1 and put the rest on the ground or to a TE.

is it you i'm playing? I've lost track...

I've had a few shockers this week too, but less than you it seems! I shouldn't have dropped the Falcons defends, but picking up Pitta off the waivers this week was inspired!

Pitta won't play like that two weeks in a row. The title is surely mine! Now where's that 'counting chickens' smiley..?

It seems you almost have this week in the bag. I would like to join in with some fighting talk, but realistically there's no way my team should beat yours. I'm just delighted to have made it to the superbowl....

Edit: Stuff it, I've just looked at your team and, Lynch apart, we're much of a muchness really, so bring it on.

Wow, 30 of my massive 57 points haul this week were from my two running backs. And only one of them got above 100 yards.

This was overall a bad week in fantasy land. Some people will have made out OK but speaking personally, what a bust. I might still scrape a win, depends on tonight.

I know we all have our own sob story but mine is :
Peyton Manning - it's not his fault that the Broncos dominated without relying on his arm.
NYG (I really mean Hicks and Wilson) - total disappointment but no doubt that pales in comparison to what Giants fans are feeling.

I had Leshoure in my line-up but took him out. Silly mistake. Kept Ridley out and that was a smart move but should have kept Lloyd in.

All IFs and BUTs. With only one game left to go I will be sure to go with my heart.

Well, in the grand playoff final my confidence of victory has taken a severe hit due to Roddy White's two touchdowns last night

Championship battle looks like its going to be tight. Calvin has the edge after a couple of my players let me down, the law firm in particular!

The Bears defensive TD has edged you back ahead though. It looks like it'll just be Lynch v Gore for the title as Vernon Davis never scores these days.

Bears D came through for me today, made up for some poor scoring elsewhere. Think you are right, whoever scores more out of Gore vs Lynch will win. Here's hoping the 49ers D has a strong game and stops Lynch!

Well, it was a close run thing right through the day but the quality of Marshawn Lynch and the Seahawks D shutting down Frank Gore saw me through.

I am absolutely delighted to have proven my credentials as the foremost authority on American football on the site

Thanks to Gatecrasher for organising it. It has been thoroughly enjoyable and I look forward to defending my crown next season!

I had a good time doing this last year and hoping to get another one going for the 2013 season. Two things need to be looked at though, 1 is the draft and another is league expansion. What are peoples thoughts on this?

I'm in for another year, I really enjoyed it.

I'm not sure how you could make the draft work, if we were to do a live draft, how long would that take? Does NFL.com give you a time limit for each pick? Perhaps we could agree that the first 10 picks are live, and then we all put auto-pick on for the last 5?

Shall we do the draft order in the order we finished last year, reversing at the end of each round, or will we do a random draw again?

If there are people interested in joining the league then we should expand it to let them join.

Theoretically interested though I expect to be incredibly busy this year having started my new job.

No problems with expanding the league but it would be prudent to make sure that any new folks are likely to actually keep on top of it!
It's hard to stitch my own back with these shaky hands
But even harder to accept the scars you left were planned

I think another random draw is the only fair way to set up the new draft order. It's how it would be done anywhere else

Last year we all guessed the attendance at a hibs game, maybe this year just draw the names out a hat?
