    Open training tonight

Could be interesting. Bet NM is buzzing for it.

Don't think uptake is much. Probably always just going to be families with kids in the main.

Hibs have just sent out the ‘week ahead at Hibs’ through their WhatsApp group. No mention of the open training session though so wonder if it’s likely to be cancelled.

I'd hope if it was going to be cancelled they would have told us by now. It's Hibs though so anything could happen.

    Anyone going to this?

Would be good if someone gives an update tomorrow.

Might witness the Jair masterclass in training which may explain why Montgomery puts him in the match day squad every week.

So far we have learnt that Emiliano is not training but may be available for Saturday and Jair is a goal machine!

Has there been any sign of crosses being practiced both defending and attacking?

Both Sergio and Montgomery made reference to finishing being poor on Saturday they did a drill around shooting, quite a nice wee session, good watching how the players get on out of a match context,

Just a shame that they are paid to be good in a match context 😂

No. But there was a big exercise involving playing only with their weaker foot, which is a good exercise for defenders. Overall I was quite impressed with how everyone, even Youan, was totally committed to going at full pelt and as previously mentioned there seems to be a good team spirit. It was a much better session than the one I witnessed under the previous manager.

Interesting to observe tonight. Monty is still very much in the building. Marcondes carrying a wee injury and didn't train as per the others. It was a low intensity session "as the players will still be sore from Saturday" - aye no as sore as us!!. However, they explained each of the exercises and it all made sense with defined objectives. Good to see a nice vibe among the players, they seemed to get on as a group. ALF just oozes class, weaker foot game saw him score some ridiculous goals. Also, kudos to the group of players who stayed beyond the session to sign stuff for kids. It was notable the ones who were keen to get finished.

Vente, ALF, Boyle, Marshall, JDH, and a few others. I would say that the majority hung on despite the best efforts of the MC to round things up. It was good that JDH, Emiliano and Marshall, who didn’t take part in the training session, made themselves available for autographs.

    Was Lewis there ?

He could do with working that right foot ?

The players that decided not to hang around need to have a word with themselves we pay their wages

Then again I didn’t hang about for Monty’s lap of honour on Saturday

Vente did train, which was a surprise and Lewis’ right foot is as bad as one would expect. Apparently Jair excels at the ‘wrong foot’ exercise, because he is ambidextrous. Either that or he is equally bad on both feet (cruel joke!)

Thought it was a great night and particularly enjoyed the wrong foot football on a very small pitch. As far as I was aware all the players stayed behind to sign autographs and get pics taken with the kids. For those who didn’t attend they worked their way along from either end of the east stand and they must have signed hundreds of autographs each! It was a slow process due to the volume of people asking for stuff signed etc but the guys attitude was nothing short of amazing. It was clear to me that this was a group of guys that were committed to the experience, the club and the fans. I was pleased to see how motivated they were to interact with the fans despite the constant booing they receive from a section of our support. For young guys in their twenties their ability to deal with the adversity shows character that I certainly didn’t have at their age. I will certainly be giving them my support at Motherwell on Saturday irrespective of the result.

Blows my mind that we still have to do that at this age. But its amazing how many young kids come through the system without being able to use both feet.
