Would be happy with that team. Would like to get Moriah-Welsh in somewhere for his energy, but Triantis has been class and Emi needs to play for his creativity

I tend to agree - and the rationale is you want to get the runners running and keeping us in the game going into the final quarter

At that point you bring on the matchwinner, Emiliano, as space opens up, while giving NMW a rest (having told him "go run yourself into the ground for 65-70mins")

I don’t think it’s unreasonable to suggest odd games where someone like Newell might miss out given the options we now have.

I’d go with a 3 in the middle definitely including NMW & Triantis. Both better either defensively or athletically, IMO, than Newell & Emiliano. It’s then a toss up between Newell & Emiliano. Do we go more solid with Newell, at the expense of Emiliano’s creative quality or hope Emiliano can win us the game with the two behind him doing his dirty work.

Aye I think it's the way we can get most of our meaningful players on the park together whilst staying true to how Monty wants to play.

Means a winger misses out but our midfield 4 is very strong atm.
