I've heard some mixed reviews about last night's experience and wondered if anyone attended?
From what i've heard the stream cut out at the start because someone else tried to use the HibsTV login and there was no audio until about 40 minutes in.
Also believe our former (and best) stadium announcer Gavin Pearson was doing the hosting duties.
Was the price worth it?

Issues you’ve described about it being late and no audio are true but I just think that comes with the territory when streaming games. I’ve no idea if someone else being logged in caused the issue.
Loads of tele’s, easy to get served and really friendly efficient staff. I’m hoping they might show the Scotland games in there for the Euros, I’ll definitely go along there if they do.
My only two criticisms are the price of a pint isn’t cheap, suppose that’s just life just now though and the hangover I’ve got today, can only assume i got a dodgy pie.

I was there courtesy of winning the tickets on the PM board, had a good night and would probably consider going along again

Having no audio for 40 mins would have absolutely done my head in - surprised to hear people say they weren't bothered about that? Key part of the experience.

I've been to 3 nights they've put on, one Hibs and two of the Scotland games and we've all had a great time at each one, few Jambos came to the Scotland games and were thoroughly impressed too

I was there. It was decent enough, packed too. But £12 a ticket and to be charged £7 for a pint of L&G is absolutely scandalous, no way they should
Be charging punters that, its not some fancy place uptown. I could see £5 but £6.40 for a tennents lager?.

6.40 for a tennents is criminal. I work in a city center bar we're talking george street and we're 5 75 for our most expensive lager.

I suppose nobody is forced to pay it but if you went to the Albion bar last night would have set you back £31 to watch the game and have 3 pints.
Each to their own but no chance I'd personally pay that.

Why are people complaining about prices?
The Prince Bar charges £18 for a single Lagavullin and £8 for a pint of lager.
I don't want to pay that much so I don't go there.

People are free to part with their money how they want, don't see it as a massive issue personally, but does seem a bit steep when you've already been charged £12 just go get in.

No-one had to drink.

It's just the reality of outsourced hospitality with a captive market. I was at Newmarket for the racing last summer and paid £7.80 for a pint of Madri. The other option was not to drink.
To some extent there is a reasoning for higher pricing. There is a higher percentage of wastage in a setting that doesn't open every day or close to it. Of course that's not the whole story, you are there and you aren't going anywhere else so they know even if people grumble they will still pay it.PM Awards General Poster of The Year 2015, 2016, 2017.
