If ever there was a 6 pointer .Win the game and we will take great confidence . No problem for us scoring, just hope the defence holds up and its onwards and upwards. The run has to start somewhere and i feel it will be the next game 4-0 Hibs

Must win. Lose and there is not a chance we can finish above them.
Even if we do win, I still think they will at worst match our point total before the split.

Absolutely a must win.

I’d have Marcondes in for Levitt.
And I don’t think we can just continue with Fish and Triantis at centre half. I’d have Hanlon back in, even if he’d not been much better this season.
We have to win. Nothing else good enough.

If he isn't sacked after these potential results it will mean a whole change in strategy by The Gordons and Kensell cos they sacked our previous 3 managers for very similar results.

Got to get out of the blocks quickly. Confidence is low so if we start poorly and the crowd start groaning it could get messy.
Dundee will cause us problems but we have improved since the St Mirren disaster. But it's that central defence...😩

Dundee are having an excellent season. Their manager's doing a great job there. A couple of weeks ago they'd have beaten us for sure and even though we look stronger now there's no chance this wll be a straightforward win.

We're winning this one, but it won't be pretty!

It won't be easy but I think we will win this one . Last time at ER they were very defensive and well organised and even though it ended 0-0 on another day we would have won it .
I'd go with .
Marshall (if fit) .
Miller .
Fish .
Triantis.
Obita .
Moriah-Welsh.
Newell.
Marcondes.
Boyle.
Maolida.
Youan.

Biggest game so far for monty, no excuses, 3 points needed badly.
Fans need to stay with the team, cos Dundee will be very hard to break down, Doherty is doing well with them, thought Dundee would be bottom.

Thankfully, they've loaned Zak Rudden to Raith Rovers. Always thought he looked a handful to play against.

I note he was taken off this weekend "as a precaution" so maybe - if we're lucky- he'll be out injuredLast edited by LewysGot2; 18-02-2024 at 06:41 PM.

It will be hard fought. If I had to name a SPL manager of the year right now I'd give it to Docherty. He's done a great job there. First goal will be very important. Whoever gets that wins, imo.

The importance of the game won’t be lost on the manager, and hopefully that’s reflected on the preparation this week at East Mains. The players might need reminded of how pivotal the forthcoming games are into giving us the chance to salvage something from a miserable season, and they owe us a win or two.
I’m encouraged with the upturn from admittedly a very low bar against St Mirren, but pretty confident we can see a solid performance. Hopefully no more of the “After you Jeeves” defending and we can tighten things up a bit better. The fragility in defence is going to be at the back of our minds throughout but hopefully we have enough.

A must win game and wouldn't be surprised to see Hanlon or Rocky return.
I don't want to think about the atmosphere if it's another pish first half showing, fancy a win though.
Will be setting the alarm for this one.
