I’d wanted to go to this but unfortunately not in Scotland this week. Hope there’s a decent turnout, Raith have been flying this season and hopefully it’s a meaningful workout for our squad as well as a testimonial.

Seems like a really daft time to play a testimonial game.

Bit of a brainfart having this during the season is it no, why not have it pre season? Would’ve taken similar numbers to what we take to Dunfermline

looking at championship fixtures for this saturday i notice Raith don't have a league game this weekend then realised it's the challenge cup final on sunday between The New Saints and Airdrie, but the organisers wouldn't have known that Raith would have had a free weekend.

Took the plunge and bought a ticket - recommendations for parking is it a nightmare?
last time I went was Yogi era for a preseason friendly. It was an absolute monsoon of biblical proportions - drains surging and everything. Players immediately soaked and the game abandoned due to a floodlight that went out and they couldn’t get it back into life. Sold all the pies and bovril first!

Hanlon and Stevenson start.
As does Zaid but no sign of Molotnikov. Perhaps carrying a knock.
