Very good tonight. Was all over the place and has some engine on him. Looked comfortable on the ball too.

    He was excellent.

Outstanding and would have probably been even better second half if not worried about a second booking

    Laddie was class.

    Brilliant tonight.

Bags of energy, presses the opposition and actually puts a tackle in at the end of it.

Also very good and composed on the ball

Full of energy, decent on the ball especially as he hasn't played too much of late. Was a wee bit lucky not to be sent off for a second yellow after smashing into scales, but he plays on the edge.

    Brilliant performance 👏
He must have covered every blade of grass. Really looking forward to seeing more of him in a middle 3...please 🙏

He looks a very good addition, great we have him on a long term deal also. He should only get better.

👍 brilliant performance, energy and quality in doses and played with a booking for the whole second half.

    More of the same please!

Get his contract extended! 2 1/2 years was it he signed for?

Glad there’s a thread dedicated to this young man, every bit the dynamic and aggressive centre midfield partner for Joe Newell we’ve been looking for. Had to tread carefully 2nd half after picking up the yellow, which probably reduced his effectiveness later on, but very promising signs.

A very good nights work from him. A joy to watch.

Feels like exactly the sort of player we've been crying out for.
He's gonna be the type that other teams' fans hate.
100% got that bit of needle about him.
Looks a cracking bit of business so far.

He's honestly exactly what we've been missing in the middle of the peach. Looks brilliant! Actually our player as well which makes it even better.

Looks like a significant step up on Jeggo, and that’s no slight on JJ. A very welcome addition to the team.

Outstanding performance and exactly the type of midfielder we have needed for about 5 years now.

Looks to be a great signing.
Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.

He had an excellent game and between him and Miller for my MOTM. What a difference playing a 3 and having a mobile player in there, who would have thought that

    Permanent deal

    Recruitment team - finally…..

  24. #23
Him going and chasing the ball and getting about them dragged the rest along and made them do it as well. Exactly what we need in the middle of the park.

  25. #24
He was good, but it’s very early days. Same as overall team performance tonight; let’s do the same on Saturday

Just home and watched the highlights, don’t think they showed him touching the ball once which is crazy as he was all over the park tonight, great signing.

Cannot believe how fit he looked. Thought he was burst 75 in then seemed to get some second wind from nowhere.

    Looked very decent.

I think folk at the game will have seen more of his impact than those watching TV coverage. He literally was everywhere

Cracking player and will only get better. Looks to have a bit of everything. Excellent that we have him under contract. Well done BMcD and BK. 😁
