    Birthday gifts for young kids

my mates daughter is turning 3 in a week or so. Struggling of things to get her. Anyone on here got any recommendations?

Have seen hungry hungry hippos or a pop up play tent online but just wondered if anyone had any other thoughts? Budget between £10-20

A 3 year old would enjoy this pop up tent, they love the adventure of going through the tunnel first to get in the tent.

I would just ask what they are into at the moment.

Generally at 3 it will be Hey Duggee, Paw Patrol, Peppa Pig, Bluey or similar.

Loads of people have done that for my daughter's birthdays in the past and we have done it for her friends too. Means you will almost certainly get something they like. If you aren't sure about asking them I reckon the 2 ideas you have had would go down just fine.

I’d check with the parents if they have any ideas for maybe a bigger gift that you could help contribute towards maybe a garden swing or playhouse etc. I found that when my kids were small and now with my granddaughter that the kids are often swamped with toys that are really only played with for a very short time and the last thing they need is even more.

Aye they tend to get that overwhelmed with toys they don't know what to pick so end up playing with the empty boxes is what I recall
