Sounds rotten but I’d try it if it was £6-7 or so, at £20 they can bolt.

Sounds evil just like the price. You'd need to be picking a few winners at that price 😁

Black velvet has been around for many years, traditionally champagne but back in the day Babysham or cider as a substitute.

A pint of Guinness at Cheltenham costs £7.50.
Buy nothing online unless you check for free cashback here first. I've already earned £2,389.68!

You would pay between 5 euro to 6 euro here for a pint of Guinness . During the COVID lockdown when pubs were meant to be closed one in Donegal tried a different angle though even that didn't work.

I would expect it to be more to be fair.

I'd expect to pay £6/7 for a pint of normal stuff in a captive environment here (sure it was £7 for a standard cider at the playhouse) - Guinness is typically a premium pint and throw in that it's at the races too then seems a "fair" price.

The fuss among racing fans is many of the same bars within the racecourse complex where charging £6 a pint at a snooker event held there a few weeks back.

The extra £1.50 is being blamed on 'logistical challenges'. I think the correct word is profiteering.

I can see how that becomes a bit more annoying then, yes!
