Can't begrudge starting Nisbet our main striker but I agree McKirdy didn't deserve to lose his place and needs a run of games to get going. Would have personally kept the same 11 as last week too. Thought McGeady might have got a rest and came off the bench
That's likely what I would have done tbh. Mckirdy is on a long term deal we could really be doing with him getting a run to get himself going and Saturday would have done him the world of good. Can't be making him feel wanted here tbh the way the gaffers treating him. I know I'd be kicking up a stink if I was him.

    How so??
We just won 6-0, start with the same team, that's the whole point in 'team' , what he's just done is the reason you get unhappy players. The way he's treated Mckirdy is shocking tbh this season. Started him 3x 2 of them away at Tynie and parkhead. Starts at home we win 6-0 he plays well and he's dropped. Poor.

Nisbet, McGeady and Youan are a stronger front three, manager does what he thinks is best for the team. Still a bit surprised but, likesay.

No way to watch this is there?

That’s as the most McKirdy has played in months and he’ll be a bit tired with the quick turn around.

Nisbet is our best player and rightly comes straight back in.

This is a very winnable game and one Johnson would get pelters for if we lost with Nisbet on the bench.

He bringing a player in who has scored 8 in 8 games. Including one in the 6-0 win. It’s the decision most expected.

Euan Henderson is also on a long-term deal, should we be giving him a run to get himself going?

    Tavares

    Melkerson

    Kenneh

    and a dozen others

Yet you want to drop someone who has scored I think 8 in 8 and is a Scottish International for someone who hasn't yet scored and came from League 2 on the back of one good season.

By all means have a moan but have at least a credible reason for one.

Nisbet has scored eight in eight.

Decent showing at the weekend aside, McKirdy has yet to score since joining the club.

Theres not a decision to make IMO.

    Feeling good about this one.

Confidence will be high and nothing to worry about from Ross Co.

Team makes sense. No point tinkering with a winning side.

Simple as that. Youan scored on the weekend too, the only other player he could realistically replace.

He is but I have sympathy for McKirdy.

He played really well on Saturday and changed a few peoples opinions on him.

Hmm… it’s almost as if you need to turn in more than one good performance to guarantee a starting berth eh?

I really hope McKirdy comes good but his first half season with us was near enough a write off. He still has a lot to prove.

Nah we’ll play our best striker. McKirdy isn’t him.

I wouldn't have changed a winning team. The front three on Saturday worked harder than any other three so far this season. By constantly closing the Aberdeen defenders down and winning the ball high up the pitch it took some of the pressure off the midfield and defence. I'm just hopeful tonight's front three put in the same effort. The joys of being a manager I guess having to make decisions 😂😂

Weather will play a big part. RC just off a win against Killie. I’m definitely in the hard shift grind camp and confidence is 50/50.

Although the Aberdeen strikers are technically better I think this will be a big test for the Fish and Hanlon partnership tonight against Brophy and White. Hanlon especially has had problems with White in previous games even though he is just a big lump without much to offer with the ball at his feet.

Will be a complete scrap which they are probably better than us at. Hopefully a battling win. Always tough up there.

very winnable? we have one of the worsed away record in the league lost 8 games [only worsed by killie 10 and aberdeen 9]. so it wont be easy.

we need to work really hard to win this one so fingers crossed.

Yeah, it won't be easy, but nothing to fear from RC.

If we grind out a 1-0 win I think most of us will be chuffed.
