    How can a top 5 expand?

    And, unless a new film comes out which blows one on your list away, how can it change?

    Most of the films on this thread are excellent (with one or 2 exceptions), but if they were in my top 5, I'd have chosen them.

    State of Grace is a great Sean Penn movie.

    You reminded me of my favourite film as a bairn - Watership Down, it was the first time I cried watching a film. Still well up now when I hear the theme song Also add in Grease, so wanted to be Olivia Newton John for years after watching it. Only film I've went back to the cinema to see again - 3 times at the Ritz in Rodney Street... showing my age.
