    Rio Bravo
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
    Alien
    The Shawshank Redemption
    The Matrix

Narrowing the list of hundreds of films I love down to 5 is nigh on impossible and that list would likely change if you asked me next week! Like, how can I leave out Silence of the Lambs, Star Wars, True Grit, Blade Runner, Contact, Back to the Future, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Vanilla Sky, The Good The Bad and The Ugly etc, I could list dozens upon dozens that wouldn't look out of place in a top 5 list. I always find films much much harder to list top 5 or top 10 of than songs.

    No particular order

    A Few Good Men
    Black Hawk Down
    Mississippi Burning
    Terms of Endearment
    Steel Magnolias

Feel guilty leaving Airplane (hilarious at the time, not so much now), Wizard of Oz (tremendous production for it's era), and nearly every film with Tom Hanks/Cruise or anything with Timothy Spall cos they are my fave actors.

    Shawshank Redemption
    War of the Worlds
    Independance Day
    The Equalizer

Could easily list a dozen more

    Right now I’ll go for:

    The shawshank redemption
    Goodfellas
    The usual suspects
    LA confidential
    The life of Brian

I would do a separate top 5 for westerns.

    The Hangover
    Saving Private Ryan
    Duel
    The Omen

    Pulp Fiction
    The Deer Hunter
The Boy in the striped pyjamas

    Gamer IDs

    Gamertag: Hibby70
    Alien
    Shawshank
    Lawrence of Arabia
    Jaws
    Empire Strikes Back

It's too difficult though. Schindlers List is probably the best film of all time but it's such a hard watch.

I’m not a particularly big western fan, despite loving The Good, The Bad & The Ugly & Once Upon A Time In The West. Really need to get round to watching the other two from the trilogy though, For A Few Dollars More & A Fistful Of Dollars.

  21. #20
    Empire Strikes Back
    The Godfather part 2
    Kill Bill vol 1
    Before Sunrise
    Fight Club

Would find it easier to do a top 20. Albeit I can’t think of too many amazing films in the last decade. Probably only Arrival and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood that would get close to my list.

    Yes, absolutely!

Always said for a few dollars more, then fistful of dollars for me. With the most famous coming third for me.

Might have to watch all 3 again shortly to see if that’s changed though 🤠

    Bonny and Clyde
    National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation
    Goodfellas
    The Breakfast Club
    Baby Driver.

These selections could change on a daily basis.

    After serious consideration I'm going with;

    The Boondock Saints.
    We Were soldiers.
    Suicide Kings.
    The Warriors.

The Secrets in their Eyes. The Argentine/Spanish version, not the duff Hollywood remake.

    Oh man this is tough.

    In no particular order:

    Home Alone 1&2
    Back to The Future 2
    Saving Private Ryan
    Shawshank
    The Breakfast Club

Breakfast club is out, great escape is in, home alone relegated again until mid December 2023, lord of the rings comes in, all three as you cannot pick between them.

Really like love actually too but it’s a seasonal film, we watch it on Christmas Eve once the kids are asleep.

School Of Rock is excellent, probably top 5 most of the year and one of those that I will watch if it’s on.

Rush Hour was a great film and I still enjoy it.
