    Hibs Managers with Graham Spiers

We had Graham Spiers back on the show this week talking Hibs managers from Miller to Lennon - we’ve had great feedback from folk who’ve listened already and we thought it was a really enjoyable chat!

Really enjoyable listen. Still trying to figure out who the 6 foot 5 black Norwegian Centre forward was.

Mickael Antoine-Curier signed from FK Haugesund

The game he was talking about was the David Murphy game on 6/10/2007 at Ibrox

He does, he had family from the borders who are Hibs fans and took a long to us after watching the 0-7 Derby on TV.

He's been one of my favourite guests, a guy who just genuinely loves football and had spent his life steeped in it.

Always thought of him as being a Hun ?

    Might be wrong

Maybe through his job it gives him a chance to see the bigger picture

As Matty says he is obviously a football fanatic and looks at things objectively before coming to an intelligent, informed, educated and articulate conclusion

Would highly recommend both his interviews on Longbangers

Well worth a watch during the World Cup if you are looking for a Hibs fix

Did he not pen the 'succulent lamb' comment?

You need to listen to his first appearance to get the answer to that one

I enjoyed this (while stuck in traffic at Newbridge this morning!) shame you didn't have more time to discuss Butcher and Calderwood and co, so it needs a Part 2!

Yep but one of the very few to have the backbone to criticise them.

I think that whole discussion is around the fact that Spiers used to be a Rangers fan, but now isn't.

Enjoyed that and the Extra time follow up.
I do hope you can persuade Steve Kean to come on and explain why Dev aren't playing as many games as they should and his thoughts going forward.

Spears own podcast is on Patreon. It’s a paid subscription but worth every penny. Does brilliant interviews.
