I agree. I would love to see Messi cap his career with a WC winners medal.

Brazil for me, loads of their big players flying at club level just now and seem to be hitting form at the right time.

Gone with Brazil but think the power still lies in Europe of which I think France are tge best team if a little tempremental in recent times world cup wise south american teams fall over when they meet Europes top sides in the later stages.

I've got france in the family sweepie, last I read they had a horrendous injury list so I'm prepared to lose my tenner lol
I reckon portugal could do summit, they've got real strength in depth in that squad.

Nkunku is the latest French injury. Shame as I thought he could make a big impact on this tournament.

Here's my list of Qatar World Cup winners

Every corrupt official at FIFA, plus ex officials like Blatter
The PR department of the Qatari Government
Brainless ex footballers with no morals (e.g. David Beckham)
    Corrupt and moral free politicians
The moral free businesses making millions from construction and infrastructure contracts (e.g. UK firms like Carillion, Hyder, etc)

I could go on but you get the jist.

Haven't watched him play for ages, might have been the Euros.

I watched a documentary about him a while ago. Did you know he is fluent in 7 languages? I think he would make an excellent Manager when he retires, just for having the ability to communicate directly with footballers in his team from different countries.

Voted Belgium, don't have a great deal of need to watch the world cup as it will all revolve around England!
The sooner they are sent packing (hopefully by Wales) the better, as then you get less biased commentary on games!!!

ABE. Down south for xmas this year and would be unbearable if the unthinkable happened.

Be good to see Argentina win it in possibly Messi’s last World Cup.

Just checked for an update. He's with the squad, being monitored daily. The last scan on his injury showed some improvement.

There’s always teams that flatter to deceive, I think Argentina and Spain will fall on their faces this time. Brazil-France final makes sense, but I’ll be cheering on whichever underdog gets the furthest. Denmark for the semis seems possible.
