"Attacking line up" according to Hibs Facebook, clueless. A depressing line up would be more accurate.
How do you think the players would feel reading this post from our support?

He lost his father last week, so probably a big reason why.
Yip it was more surprised to see him in the squad

First time I've worried about the manager. That line up is extremely uninspiring. Campbell will get destroyed if he's wing back.

I reckon we have the pace up front and engines in the middle for a high press tactic. Then we can hit them on the break. Only concern is can we get bodies into the box from midfield when we break?

For all my whinging about the players and team you can't argue that the media coming out from the club hasn't been top notch as of late.

Pre match build ups are great and the club needs to do more to promote them.

If Cabraja was playing instead of Campbell I think that would be a decent team.

Two up front should at least give us chances.

Even with all the worry, I still expect the pace of Boyle and Youan to cause them loads of problems.

    Another 5-5 maybe?🤣

We’ve no even kicked a ball today and Hibs social media is already shocking. Think I’m just gonna switch it all off until Monday. Enjoy the game, hope we hump the huns but I’ll not be devastated or start abusing everything Hibs if we don’t.

It’s creating chances for them that worries me.

Reckon second one. Pity about Cabraja circumstances.

Think that is probably best line up with who we have availability if you put him in for Campbell

Yup. They’ll simply brush us aside. We need some bruisers in our side.
Correct. Soft as ***** in midfield.
Why can't successive managers see this?

Out of the 15 new players we have signed there is no one on the bench likely to come on and change the game our way if we are toiling.

    Disgraceful from the recruitment dept.

I'm going to see Kevin Bridges tonight but I could have saved the cost of tickets, travel and hotel if I just logged in here instead.

    You're awesome.

The theory is that when you play a 3-5-2 you don't need an out and out defensive midfielder.

Not totally sure I agree when playing Rangers as the JDH, Newell and Henderson 3 is nowhere near the standard of the McGeouch, McGinn and Allan trio.

At least Johnson is being positive though.
It’s something different. I can’t say how well we’ve played with other formations but something about have wing backs gives me the horn.

    Cadden, Campbell, JDH, Newell, Doig

That was our midfield when we pumped them 3-1 at Hampden.

Why don’t we save the crises catchphrases for after we get pumped?

It isn’t the same midfield as has been mentioned.

We have been trying to sign midfielders according to rumours and reports. Also a CH. what more can they do? It’s not just about Hibs choosing players. We need the players to choose us too.

Surprised with Kenneh as this would be one of the games where that type of player would be essential I’d have thought.

Hopefully Henderson is on form and can slip some balls in behind for Boyle and Youan to run on to. Plus Newell has some of his best games vs Rangers so we can only hope.

If the players are on here checking out reaction to line up, 30 mins before KO we are even more of a mess than I thought.
