We're playing " transfer roulette " - buy enough one perhaps two will come up. Why oh why , can't we buy a few , fit , seasoned and tested professionals.

Like Marshall or Boyle or Cabraja or McGeady (injured after he signed!)?

Is it just me, even next week is massive against that shower
Since you get the same points for winning & drawing every league game then they’re all massive

If Livingston had taken their chances in the first half they would have been out of sight.

Based purely on the fact it was only 1-0 at half time our second half performance probably merited at least a point but that first 45 minutes yesterday was absolutely dreadful and being completely honest we can't expect to get anything when we're starting matches so poorly.

Unfortunately I think next week will be a write off but we need a big performance and win the week after against St Mirren. It's a fixture we usually do well in so that needs to continue.
Out of sight really only other chance apart from our gift was Noublie again.

I think this Hibs team, as it stand with the transfer window still open, is the very definition of mediocre.

Not good enough for 3rd or 4th but not bad enough for 10th, 11th or 12th. We are every inch a mid table side. The suggestions that we are a few games of gelling away from being European contenders seem wildly optimistic and misplaced from what I have seen this far but equally suggestions we are on the verge of a relegation dogfight are the opposite of that.
We aren't great but we will compete for Europe.

5th place gets Europe now, hearts are a better side than us and possibly Aberdeen as well.

But even with the weaknesses in this team who else in the league would you say will definitely come above us? Cause Motherwell and Dundee utd are both pretty poor.

And it’s almost impossible to argue with that, although some will try.

The fact we’re still sitting here praying we’ll sign a centre mid and a centre back when they were the most critical positions and have been for transfer window after transfer window is laughable.

They had 3 shots on target in the first half, if they had taken that chance that Nouble had then it was probably game over.
