Oh aye, get beat next week and I’d say we’re almost certain to go down.

I honestly can’t see how a point or 3 can be identified as relegation saving in game four.

    Is this even logical?

Behave. We're rubbish but we're not St Johnstone or St Mirren rubbish

We won’t go down but we’re a bottom six club.

We are worse than we were this time last year. It’s an embarrassment and we’ve got people praising Ron Gordon for his running of the club, which is a joke.

I think this Hibs team, as it stand with the transfer window still open, is the very definition of mediocre.

Not good enough for 3rd or 4th but not bad enough for 10th, 11th or 12th. We are every inch a mid table side. The suggestions that we are a few games of gelling away from being European contenders seem wildly optimistic and misplaced from what I have seen this far but equally suggestions we are on the verge of a relegation dogfight are the opposite of that.

No, our issues are clear but there is definitely threat going forward in this team with Youan and Boyle. Completely different to the insipid performances under Maloney imo.

I’m not worried yet, it will all come down to who we appoint to replace LJ that will determine our fate this season.

Wernt we top of the league in October last season?

Can you lists the areas of the running of the club that are "a joke?"

Im not concerned in the slightest about us being in trouble this season. But we’re not going to be challenging for anything either.

Some of our recruitment (or lack of in certain positions) has me absolutely baffled.

    Recruitment.
And it’s almost impossible to argue with that, although some will try.

The fact we’re still sitting here praying we’ll sign a centre mid and a centre back when they were the most critical positions and have been for transfer window after transfer window is laughable.

I feel like we have a good manager and a lot of good players. Our midfield is just too weak and that has the effect of putting too much pressure on the defence and little service for the attackers.

Just one really solid centre mid would make a huge difference. I just hope the club feel the same way and are making moves.

Until we get a midfield who can control a game for most of the 90 minutes every game will be a struggle.

Sinking feeling about losing a game we shouldn't have and the ref did us no favours. Incredible reaction

We only really turned up for half an hour today. We lacked quality all over the park and Livingston should have had the game done when Marshall saved from Nouble in the first half, before we’d even been up the park ourselves.

You won’t win many games if you don’t turn up for the majority of it. We got what we deserved for lack of quality at both ends of the park.

I know it’s early days but RG has shown little patience with managers especially when the crowd aren’t happy. But unless there is a big turnaround it’s looking like another poor season to me.

This. Anyone who says recruitment isn’t a problem must be joking. For far too long we have needed a CB and CM and we have not recruited anyone to dislodge Hanlon,Newell etc.

Sadly Hanlon, Doidge, McGregor (not so much Stevenson) and many other senior players are not contributing enough but are taking up a big chunk of the wage bill. We need a clean slate and that has to happen in the next couple of windows.

Too early to write them off but early signs for Tavares, Bojang and Rocky haven’t convinced many. Add those 3 to the performances of newell, Hanlon, campbell and even Porteous and we are on the slide. I do have hope for Kenneh, Youan and getting Boyle back is really saving us from a relegation battle. Marshall also will win us a lot of points this year.

We have no urgency in games in general build up play and not enough players contributing goals, assists. That cannot be argued.

It’s just another typical week to be a Hibby, last minute draw against that lot last week giving us hope then next time we get beat, doom and gloom and we’re going doon.
There’s no grey areas being a Hibby, it’s positively bi-polar.

Maybe someday the penny will drop and we'll start replacing players who aren't good enough.

Bit perplexed at some of this. Rocky has been one of the best players this season? Think that's not even been a controversial opinion, either. He's been better than Porteous. Been at all of the games and Rocky would be in the top 3 most consistent- and not in a bad way.

We really have to bring in a quality midfield player if not then it could be one of those roller coaster seasons.
