£36.50 I think it was and did we not have to apply directly to Hearts to get them? I mind having fill out a form, hand it in somewhere and collect tickets from them, that was during the Romanov years.
I remember having to go into the Hearts shop and ask for tickets for the Hibs end. Even although it was known that we had to buy them that way the looks from the other customers in the shop was priceless 😂

Nonsense if that is the case

Why?, the lower tier is the family section. To buy tickets you need to have a child with you. It’s been that way in the FFL for years. We both might think it is a stupid rule but it actually makes sense

Time to scrap that crap rule and get that area full.

It doesn't make sense when it causes loads of empty seats at every game

It doesn't make sense when there are hundreds of empty seats and people who want to go can't buy them.

If I was taking my child to a game which is normally a family atmosphere in the stand I sit and then for a big match you end up with groups of drunken bammers sitting beside me and my kids I would not be happy. It is one small section of the ground. There are tickets available in the upper tier or the West stand for Adults without children to buy tickets. It’s not an issue, it only becomes an issue when all those parts of the ground are sold out.

But there are hundreds of seats available in the FF upper and the West stand, they can buy tickets there, just not the FF lower

Aye, it’s not a problem at all until the rest of the stadium is sold out. We have family areas for a reason unfortunately.

Which is another issue altogether, I would restrict the family area to 3 sections of the FFL probably the sections nearest the West stand. You could then cordon it off down the middle and make the remaining sections available to Adults without children. It may mean people moving but might get rid of the empty seats issue in the FFL

That is how it was when I took my kids to the FFL a few years ago. So much bother with drunken idiots who went to the odd match sitting among fans who were at every home game. It is definitely worth looking to move the family section to a scalable area like the far wings of the east. That way it can be contained and expanded as necessary depending on ST sales. The biggest worry is that if the FFL isn't selling many seats where are the Hibs fans of the future.

2007 - I was there with a mate over from Canada. Left the pub late and missed Brian Kerr's goal!
For some reason I put Kerr first goal at 33s which topped off an excellent evening.

Hibs really need to sort out the FFL ticketing fiasco, I get its a family section but surely they would rather bums on seats & money into the club rather than a half empty lower tier at every game

I quite like the proposal I read from a poster further up this thread.
We should consolidate the season ticket holders and those who like to sit in the F5 lower into the 3 sections nearest the West stand. The 2 sections next to the East should be safe standing.
This should lead to a full or nearly full F5 lower for the catA games.

Spoke to someone at the club earlier, these tickets will be sold if not taken up by families at some point. I suppose it wouldnt take a lot for someone to buy an adult and kids tickets anyway if they are on the database.

Fair bit of chat on the Hearts fan sites that the boy Sibbick is low on confidence / bombscare etc and they're really hoping Cochrane is back for them, even if he's not fully fit

Either of those would give Elie Youan a chance to prey on the weak - phycially or mentally

A full house helps set the tone - would encourage everyone to get along for this one, buy a ticket & help the Hibees

Hibs should be releasing a statement to the press , that there are only 500 tickets remaining , will help move the remaining tickets sooner

These are selling at a decent pace. Think we’ll sell out
