Obviously it's an edited version but I think it gives a bit of insight as to his importance as an organisational figure in the team. I'd like to see us make a real statement of intent by giving Porto an extension on his contract. I still think he's got the makings of a potential Scotland captain if he concentrates on the football and the Scottish sporting media give him an even break.

From someone that didn't want Johnson got to say he's putting himself across brilliantly. Some humble pie for me.

I’m really surprised folk think this was informative. He just shouted names a lot - I know it’s just a pre season game so not writing him off but really surprised folk think he’s a leader from that short recording.

It would be interesting to hear Hanlon or McGregor mic'd up for comparison. Hanlon has often been ( unfairly IMO) criticised as not being a great leader - but I reckon he will be an excellent talker.
