I'm not sure I see significant pace in those videos. Looks about as pacey as Jasper was.
Jasper that was the only player in our team that looked like he would beat a man for months, and must have been close to, if not, the fastest player in our squad.

Furthermore, Mueller and Jasper brought totally different things to the team. In my opinion it wasn’t a lot in Mueller’s case, but he’s completely different to Jasper. I wonder if that’s why you never see any good in potential signings if you can’t see any difference between those two?

Maybe the strikers miss most of the chances he makes. One reason why you shouldn't rely on stats.
    Yep

56% of stats are just a made up figure

Sorry but going by his highlights reel I'm struggling to see the difference between what he brings and what Jasper or Mueller did. Seems like a good prospect but worried because we need proven talent to improve the first 11
Have you commented anything positive about hibs
I'm beginning to wonder if you really are a hibs fan
you remind me of a certain reporter that said mcginn would struggle to get into the celtic team

60% of the time the stats are 100% accurate.

Are things meant to be ultra positive after our worst season in recent memory, where we sacked 2 managers and our top scorers all left the club or were injured well before the end of it?

I'll be positive when there's something to be positive about.

We were not relegated and we are not Hearts. Two positives off the top of my head.

    Worst season in recent memory?

We were a Melkerson open goal away from top 6, got to a cup final and semi final of the other.

Last season was pish but you’re being a bit dramatic. Bad seasons happen sometimes.

My point still stands I think you dont follow hibs
If you do then I would be prepared for bumps in future following hibs
But you can always follow your other team that I think you follow

Positive...we signed a top experienced keeper...we sign a very decent RB from Oz...also a punt with a young African lad who'll not be costing that much...and a young exciting winger who had a few clubs after him. We still have many weeks of the window to go with comings and goings still to happen. Must admit you are one if the most depressing posters on here, take a break and chill for a bit.

We didn't score that open goal, capitulated within 60 seconds of scoring in the cup final and lost for the second time in a week to Hearts in the other (which guaranteed them European group stage football).

Let's be honest, it was absolutely ****ing dreadful as a season but as long as we make that our lowest ebb then the future is good.

Do you think your security can keep you in purity, you will not shake us off above or below. Scottish friction, Scottish fiction

Its mental. Unless his recent memory is like 6 seasons???

But we got to a final and a semi?? That and top 4 and any manager has delivered above expectations. So not getting top 6 doesn't make it even close to worst in recent memory.

Yes. Most joyless, hopeless season since 2014.

I'll decide whether those are positives or not once they do the business. Until then I've seen too many false dawns under the Gordon's to believe the hype

What was worse than that since relegation? We've been in cup finals and semis with horrific sides plenty of times. It's not a barometer for success unless you actually win the thing

  24. #53
Let's be honest last season was 1 of several that have been mediocre at best in recent times. The brightest spot was Jack Ross, a 3rd place finish and a cup final and even then a sizeable number wanted the manager out.

Since we finished 4th under Lennon we have finished 5th and been emptied from both cups in the quarter finals, 7th and 2 semi finals, the aforementioned Ross season then last season. The evaporation of the feel good factor that lasted from about summer 2016 to around October 18 was rapid

Arguing over which season was the worst is a sad reflection of how 3 of the last 4 have gone.

Mate, last season wouldn't make the top 5 in my memory. Relax yourself a little.

Nah, I can’t see us blowing two positive pieces of PR into one announcement, more likely to spread it across a couple of days.
