Think it’s because he’s now out of contract and looking for a club so an educated guess.
Yup and 32 years old now so doubt he will be of interest

Good article on Johnson and his style

Also, still no mention of his assistant? Seems odd it’s taking so long unless of course he’s on holiday

I was going to say you're an ultimate slaver. But I won't you are just a fibber. McAllister is on his way apparently.

Hibs are putting the finishing touches on a deal for Jamie McAllister to come in as Lee Johnson’s assistant; duo also worked together at Bristol City & Sunderland

Must say after an initial flat reaction to LJ’s appointment I am getting a positive vibe, can’t wait to see who he signs and how we play, actually looking forward to the new season stating. I think he might just get Hibs mojo back

Agreed and sure hope so... its been awful for several years now.
Back in July for a week or two, so hoping to already catch some league Cup games.
And then plan to come back again Aug or Sept for a league game.

It contains an IOU and an instruction sheet on how to make, and milk, a cash cow.

Extensive experience at the top end of Scottish football too, looks a very astute appointment based on his background.

I'm quite excited by that TBH. Three members of the management team who are all relatively young but also relatively experienced.

Looks a good management team on paper. Happy with that.

I reckon you've hit the nail on the head

I was excited by Shaun Maloney's appointment but you could make the case he was doomed to fail by his choice of assistant manager. Done well, its a specialist role (thinking Mark Venus, John Doolan & Taff)

Reckon a younger manager, with a philosophy to implement, needs a no2 who can relate to the dressing room on the one hand, and who can persuade the boss to work on plan B (even just in emergency/short term) when the players are just really struggling with Plan A.

I agree this LJ team looks a really strong management group on paper. Encouraging times I hope

Personally I am happy & quite excited about this appointment, think he will do a great job.
Just wish folk would stop having a cheap shot at him because he was briefly employed by our pink neighbours. It's not as though he supports them, unlike Michael Stewart, who didn't get as much grief on here.

Used to speak to Adam Owen when Rangers stayed at the Caley, a wealth of experience.
