Lincoln or Boston away would suit me. Father in law is in Lincolnshire so a bed for the night for me and plenty good pubs in and around both places.

I'm seriously considering going down near Great Yarmouth for a week long caravan holiday park. Worth it Jim?
Don't know about Great Yarmouth but have relatives in Norfolk and very nice. Loads of lovely villages with decent pubs

What's the Celtic game the day before this? I can't seem to find it listed?

Its only 5 hours! Hardly horrendous. I went to Edinburgh and back in the same day yesterday and I live in Worcester!

Its a james hunt of a drive or you're relying on 2 x train connections being on time. Not the easiest of journeys. The fact that Edinburgh or Glasgow has no direct rail services to that part of the Midlands is poor imo.

Never mind Glasgow & Edinburgh, I was looking at trains from Manchester to Mansfield in preparation for Bolton (possibly) going there next season. Quickest route is 2 hours 53 minutes with two changes (Sheffield & Worksop)!

It was the under-18s. Imagine it might be a bit of an older team this time around though. Be boys coming back from injury too perhaps who might need the gametime.
They've only gone and done it! They've only gone and won the Scottish Cup! What kept you, Hibs?!

We won’t be. The Norwich game will have been announced after we’d agreed with the SPFL that the weekend of the 23rd will be our free matchday in the league cup. We’ll play the 2 weekends and 2 midweeks before it in the cup.

No reason why we can’t get a game down south on the 2nd/6th July, we did that the last time and played Carlisle

I'd rather not go back there, there was some aggro last time and a hibby took a right doing on the way back from the ground, there was also running battles botcher gate post match.

Think we played in 2010 down there and there was some aggro then.

We played them on the Sunday after the away game in Maribor, quite a messy few days!
