    Enough.

    Nice try.

I wanted Alex Neil last time.

McCinnes made no sense to me as he was sacked by Aberdeen for similar reasons we sacked Ross.

Malky Mackay seems to recruit well and get average players playing well but there’s the obvious negatives and then some forget how bad he was at the start of the seasons. After 10 games was it not something like 3 points out of 30?
Agree, Neil was the one but apparently he didn't want to come back to Scotland. Who knows.

I despair about folk wanting McInnes. If people were worried about falling attendances under Jack Ross due to his style of football then I dread to think of the ST uptake if McInnes was announced.

Clear EVERYONE out and I mean everyone, Lewy, Hanlon and take the money for Nisbet, Porteous & Doig and let either Lennon McInnes or MacKay start completely from scratch. No passengers and for some to not want MacKay is laughable. I just want a winning Hibs team and not celebrating failure.
    Fabulous! 😂

    Great shout. Petrie as assistant?

We had a decent manager. We won’t re-appoint him. Also it kinda of doesn’t matter who gets the gig if Ben K is still running the club.

Someone with some character - someone who will inspire the players / fans and connect the club again.

Doesn’t have to shout like a mad man but the top clubs find someone with this as it portrays the image of the club.

Going for a vanilla / safe option will split the fans again. We need someone who will get people back to Easter Road with entertainment.

Obviously not just this but like the current set of players - the manager has to galvanise the club and fans.

The Bodo/Glimt manager has suitors well above our level if he ever chooses to move on.
Did he not turn down Norwich last year and a Italian team.

We have no chance of getting him sadly, he might have an assistant though with a foreign name.

Tom English. His knowledge of the game in Scotland is far superior to anyone else. So he says anyway.

Appointing MacKay would genuinely make me reconsider renewing. I'd find it extremely difficult to support a Hibs team managed by him.
I have already reconsidered, if he is appointed I’m out.

If Malky Mackay even gets an interview for the Hibs job I’m out. Won’t be back at ER again.

What’s he done? 6 half decent months at Ross County? Is that how low we’ve set the bar now? Apart from that the man’s an absolute weapon!

    I'd take him.

My worry is that he has not long departed a similar set up to us at Aberdeen where his relationship with a clueless owner deteriorated and results followed.

His early years at Aberdeen were good, both results and performances. Bring in the right support network and let him concentrate on football and he'd do fine.
If McInnes set to work on our squad, we'd be back to Stubbsesque six players or so under contract at the end of the year - cant make up my mind if thats good or bad.

Cmon. You must be at the wind up? Surely?

McInnes would probably be solid but just doesn't excite me as a Hibs Manager. God forbid we had several seasons playing like The Sheep did under him. Ok he might get us in contention for top four but for me we'd not be expansive enough, settling for 1-0 grind-outs.

If it’s Malky McKay then I’m buying another season ticket on top of the one I already have.

Michael O'Neil would be my choice but unlikely I think. He's under contract until the end of next season at Stoke although they are operating under tight financial constraints and weren't that close to getting promoted this season.

Saw a few stories recently saying he might get punted by them at the end of the season. Not been overly successful with Stoke, I’d guess he’d be linked with it if he was free.

My mate is a Killie ST holder.

Says they have been brutal to watch under McInnes but at least he gets results.

    Not for me though.

That's who I wanted when Maloney came in did a great job at Aberdeen imo however the label of industrial football not all of which is fair plus Aberdeen and Rangers links probably not going to help him. Watch highlights of the 2017 cup final where they went head to head with a very good Celtic side excellent aggressive attacking performance. Can't see him getting it now speaks well and is passionate

Of course it is a joke.

People were throwing Kevin Thomson, Scott Brown, Bartley and the like so thought I'd join in with the ex-Hibs connection stuff.
F*** it, get Gaz and Deek in to get us through to end of season.
