Thread: A write off?

  1. #91
Still alot of new players and injuries just now, not conceding goals which is good, just need someone to put it in the net and we'll be solid. Hopefully the Scottish Cup we'll start seeing the goals again.

    We're almost closer to 12th than 3rd.
Not having a pop at you here, but over the last few years, we've seen quite a lot of our support worry about where we could finish, rather than where we are currently.

In fact as recent as under Lennon, we had folk going radio rental at the team and management when they were 2nd in the league, and winning through a couple of rounds in Europe.

More and more people are scared of their own shadow, and definitely glass half full fans.

I'm struggling to think of any scenario Hibs could be in these days, that will keep some folk happy?

Against all odds we're somehow still 4th and in the Scottish Cup.

Plenty to play for and tbh the squad need commended for still being in with a shout at success considering this is effectively our B team.

Plus, I want top six so we actually have a shot at shutting the Hertz up for one game.

1 win in 10 league games, yet somehow still 4th. What a bizzare season.

I've known plenty seasons come the first week in March when we were out the Scottish Cup and nowhere in the league so I wouldn't class it as a write off just yet

    We’ve had 2 in the last 6?

Or do you mean earlier in the season under JR?

We've not had two wins in our last six league games.

You need to go back 11 league games for two victories.

Unbeaten in 4. You have to go away up to 2nd to see a record like that

Neither we have. I think I’ve read the St Mirren game as a Hibs win when I looked back!

I was swithering a little when I started this thread but I think it's pretty obvious now.

Bottom six and about to get humped at Hampden; it hardly fills me with enthusiasm.

Season was over when we binned a good manager a week before a cup final. Only an absolute fud of a ceo would even consider that.
