I'm going down to it. Should hopefully be a good fight.

Wasn’t that bothered when it was first announced but I’m a sucker for the hype and now can’t wait. Still don’t know who I want to win or I think will win.

It's a strange one.
Brook's face seems to have gone. Khan has always had a glass chin.
Brook will probably have more power, but Khan will probably have more speed.
On balance, I reckon Khan will win on points.

I think Brook will win on points. Khan’s best chance is to knock Brook out, but I just don’t see that happening. I like both fighters, but Brook’s toughness will outlast Khan’s speed and power.

There's quite an interesting article in the Guardian, which includes an interview with Brook. He wants to beat Khan so much it is almost tangible. Ironically, that could prove to be a weakness, he can't seem to detach himself from those feelings.
Does anyone know what the cause of the beef is between them?

When they were both at their peak I would have picked Khan to win all day, every day. Now I'm not so sure. 3 years of inactivity won't have done him any good, and his last fight was a glorified exhibition as well. Brook has hardly been overly active lately either though.
It's essentially 2 guys on the wrong side of the hill looking for one last payday. They'll get it and if it's close they will probably get another one out of it as well. I won't be paying for it but I'll more than likely watch it.PM Awards General Poster of The Year 2015, 2016, 2017. Probably robbed in other years

Just finished watching 'the gloves are off' between the pair. Brook doesn't have the trash talking ability that Khan does, but he wants this soo much. The hatred he has towards Khan is palpable.
Khan the technically superior fighter (by quite a way) in their respective heydays. But I think it would take a small army to keep Brook down in the ring tonight. I actually think he'll win through shear heart/determination.
Have to say, both men look in incredible shape for this, especially Brook.

Bottle of Irn Bru followed by 2 litres of water before Khan had got on the scales worried me. I hope Brook isn’t too hyped for it. Khan seems more relaxed. He’s definitely more media savvy. The worry for Khan is nearly 3 years out the ring and not staying particularly fit. Brook has kept training throughout, punches harder and we all know about khans pompadom chin 🤣
No idea how it’ll go, which makes it all the more interesting.Last edited by Frazerbob; 19-02-2022 at 12:16 PM.

Looking forward to this although it should have happened years ago when both these guys were at their peak, too hard to call, I would prefer Khan to win but not sure if he has the speed anymore, I guess we will find out later.

That stoppage was ridiculous, I doubt it would have made a difference to the final result, but you have to give a fighter a chance surely.

Fancy Khan strongly based on Brooks last fight.
I think Khan will catch him and end it before the 9th.
Like Amir better too.

He's done imo. He was done halfway through his last fight when he was stopped by a bum.

I have never seen a boxer remove his gloves in the ring before a fight like this.
