    Strongest XI

If everyone is fit and available. What does everyone see as the strongest XI?

    Personally for me, it’d be:

    Macey
    Rocky Porteous Hanlon
    Clarke Magennis Newell Mitchell
    Mueller Doidge Melkerson

Harsh on Cadden but we really need more pace in the team on recent viewing.

Melkerson in the strongest 11 based on his YouTube clips?

In fairness, the spot where the OP has put Melkerson in is up for grabs, to put it mildly.

Having Nisbet there with Doidge centrally could work

    A goalie

    Clarke
    Bushiri
    Porteous

    Cadden
    JDH
    Newell
    Doig

    Magennis

    Doidge
    Nisbet

Sorry but for me none of these new attacking options have proved they are any better than what we've got, mueller looks a bit lightweight, melkerson hasn't played yet, Henderson I'm not sure where I'd play to get the best out of him, although defensively Clarke looks the part based on what I seen of him at county, shame he's not left sided but there we go. Rocky looks an improvement, The shape needs to change as the guys we are trying to shoe horn in behind nisbet who isn't good enough to play up front himself, aren't good enough either. We are weakening the team by playing this formation with the players we have at our disposal. Scattergun approach to recruitment so far for me.

Cadden has been probably our best players in the past 5 games, knows how to cross a ball.

You won’t get more stamina and pace than Cadden.

I think weee fine defensively and in the wing back area.

Anything middle to front, I don’t have a clue.

Cadden is one of the first names on the team sheet.

I'd be tempted to use Mitchell in front of doig and go
    Macey
    Rocky Porto Hanlon
    Cadden Magennis Newell Doig
    Mueller Nisbet Mitchell

This gets my vote, though be interested to see how Clarke does in comparison to cadden. Would use Mitchell's pace until we can get a more natural forward in place.

Love to see us go for someone like Eliot Anderson of Newcastle. Definitely need another pacey attacker who can strike a ball!

The 3-4-3 with two of the midfield four being wing backs staying wide means that formation leaves us short in midfield and doesn’t work

    Macey
    Porteous Rocky Hanlon
    Clarke Magennis Newell Diog
    Mueller Doidge Henderson

My worry is that lacks a bit of pace in the front line but i think that is our best at the moment.

It’s a potentially very good side with a lot of options off the bench.

Thats pretty much my thoughts but I'd swap Mitchell for Henderson & Cadden for Clarke based in what I've seen of Al the players so far.

You’ve removed our regular top performer Chris Cadden?
And our 3 million pound left wing back?

You’ve added a young lad who because of a serious injury, probably won’t feature this season and according to some Rankers fans I speak to, will be off to Sevco in May?

Maybe he thinks our new lad is going to offer more than Cadden’s consistency. And maybe he doesn’t think Doig is a 3 million pound player. And maybe he thinks (when fit as stated) that Clarke will be part of our strongest 11 and it’s irrelevant what your hun pals say?

And if rumours about people leaving at the end of the season bizarrely mean they can’t be included, Doig and countless others wouldn’t make a lot of our 11s!!
