SM had already said he would need time to settle etc. There doesn’t always need to be some mad conspiracy/cover-up

Aye that’s seems like total bull****. Only way to bring a player up to speed with the Scottish game would be to play him in first team games even as a sub

Weeks? FFS. Glad his work permit is through but can’t believe this run of luck we are having with injuries or availability.

30 appearances in the Dutch top flight last season and the Dutch leagues will be ranked higher than the Norwegian leagues.

Why would he want to cover up the injury? What would he gain from that?

Nope. Last season (20/21) he made 30 appearances in the Eredivisie (top tier) with Ado Den Hag. They were relegated that season and hence he has been playing in the Second tier this season.

As far as I can see his last game was on November 27th when the Norwegian season ended. Which means when he signed for us he had not played for 5 weeks. So much like Mueller he's been in pre-season mode.

With very little time for bounce games and the like, plus the injury, I think Maloney is being cautious. It wouldn't surprise me to see him on the bench for the Derby and starting to make sub appearances going forward.

He's playing mind games. Rememver Levein before every derby had half a dozen injury worries looking at weeks out and miraculously the were raised from the dead like Lazarus.

The Hof is effectively going througb a pre-season, like Meuller, He'll come on from the bench next week
