These tickets will surely be flying out the door now.

Anyone know how the actual sales are looking? Other than given them away for free there's not much more Hibs can do, excellent pricing!

I know the games on TV but nothing can beat being at ER.

Particularly with new signings making their home debuts.

Hopefully sales pick up though appreciate there are reasons ticket sales will be low such as it being on cooncil telly. Some folk might just wait to see what the weather's going to be like before deciding. I'm really looking forward to seeing some of our new players and this is a perfect match to get them some game time. How many is it, 6 new guys in? Might be Boyle's send-off.

Same, got myself a pair of crackers too.

Altho in my defence my seats have went to cove

I did think tickets would be moving a lot faster though. Puts the argument to bed that cheaper tickets will sell more seats for games like this. Those who want to go will go, those who don’t won’t. Regardless of ticket price

It doesn’t put the argument to bed. It’s a week before payday in the skintest and longest month of the year for many plus it’s on BBC.

Having said that maybe it puts to bed the argument that folk weren’t going because of Jack Ross?

I got tickets for my group today but can understand folk hanging off just now. There’s no real hurry for this one

it certainly would and I actually have a funny feeling we will get a result on Monday… I had the same feeling before the Rangers semi final.

we’ll see. If we don’t it will be far from the first time Hibs have made a fool of me, and it won’t be the last either.

The game will be played before most peoples pay days.

This game will put the arguement to bed.

We either get an actual 17k people in the ground or we get the roughly same 7/8k who are turning up regardless.

Thr club don't expect more than 10k or they wouldn't be just opening the West and East.

7.45pm on Thursday next will end the debate.

    what if it’s 10k?

that would prove that there’s a couple of thousand people who will come if it’s cheaper and won’t if it isnt.

never mind the fact that the covid threat is still clearly putting people off, and as has been mentioned it’s the longest month of the year between paydays for a lot of people.

really this game will not end any debate.

You are charging less than half the usual ticket price. You need to more than double the crowd to break even and the on field result wont be affected.

10k represents a fail as its less than our core ST support.

It's also only a tenner, folk spend more on a takeaway. However its up to each individual if they want to go.

It is only a tenner. Or to put it another way another tenner.

If you’re going on your own.

Exactly. It would also need to be trialled for a longer period than a one off game against lower league opposition, not included in season tickets, on the tv etc

Doesn’t put anything to bed IMO.

Our last cup game against Killie was on a nice summer afternoon at a weekend. Attendance was 5990 but that included over a thousand Killie supporters.

A Thursday night, middle of January isn’t the same thing. I think we’ll at least match the home attendance which I don’t think we would have if the pricing was the same
    As that day.

The ticket sales were always likely to be poor but they are selling very slowly. Looking forward to the game as I have decided to miss Parkhead due to cost. Hope to see a few of the new signings

My seat taken but looking forward to sitting in another part of the stadium and going with a different mob than the same old faces. Delighted to be able to mix it up - RITE (routine is the enemy).

There will be very little covid threat, plenty room to sit by yourself at this one Changed days, back in the day crowds would be much higher at Cup games than league games. This is the only thing we can win this season but people would rather sit in the house and watch. You would think people would be fed up being kept indoors during all these lockdowns and would want to get out to the football ? Other than making it free Hibs couldn't have done much more with pricing.

Let’s not be mistaken this will be a tough tie
We should have enough, but we’ve not played a lot of football for a few weeks, and loads of new players who aren’t match fit
Cove are full of experienced players

Will definitely be a tough game . They are flying high and used to winning and scoring every game . We should have enough, but we will have to turn up to ensure we don’t end up on the wrong end of a shocker of a result

Cove and Kelty are the two absolute bankers on my coupon every week. It's always tough against teams who are used to winning most weeks but i fully expect to beat them by a couple of goals at least.

Cove unbeaten in 13 games - definitely have to be switched on not to be on end of an upset.

They lost 5-1 away at Annan a few weeks ago.

Yeah that was Kelty, Jordon Forster got sent off in the first half when the score was 1-1. Cove will be difficult opponents and unlike others on here who think otherwise, we must play our best available 11. Most important game of the season for now, no time for any experiments.
