A sad day

Sad to see the passing of Mike Nesmith, Steve Bronski and Mensi today.

As a big fan of the angelic upstarts the latter saddens me most. A band who released some absolute classic singles and a few brilliant albums. Hard to count how many times I'd seen them live.

Last time that I saw Mensi he had shed about three stones and more and looked in as good shape as he had been for a while. I knew that he had been struggling with Covid but this is a surprise.

He looked fit as a fiddle last time I saw them at the liquid rooms. He'd been in hospital with COVID for a few weeks and finally succumbed to it today.

Former band member Tony Feedback sadly also lost his life to covid 😔
