We were good.
Think we were really good second half.
Never deserved to lose.
Careless penalty after not dealing with it on the left. Doig never seemed like he knew what his legs were doing tonight.

Disappointing. Should have brought Scott on earlier when we were on top.
Didn’t go for the win and got a late sickener.

And brother Beaton blows his whistle after the balls out for a corner. If that had been a Rangers corner they’d have been allowed to take it

We had the best of the second half, they had the best of the first, a draw would have still been a decent result. Instinctive from Porteous to flick at the ball but ultimately has cost us a point.
Subs could have been made earlier but Murphy and Allan don’t fit in to a team that is playing a midfield that need harassed closed down."...when Hibs won the Scottish Cup final and that celebration, Sunshine on Leith? I don’t think there’s a better football celebration ever in the game.”

Bit of a sucker punch but trying to hold out for the draw and not bringing on fresh legs was as much too blame as Porteous' tackle or Hanlon's ***** pass. Up until that point we were solid and kept our shape well throughout. Annoying but we move on to the weekend.

only got ourselves to blame, Rangers were below par, and we played for a point and it backfired.
Does Ross realise how daft he looks bringing the subs on so late? Bring them on after 60/70 and make it look like u want to win the game!

All very well winning a semi final against them but our league record is poor. We defended fairly well and competed in midfield but are still a bit toothless up top, just lack that piece of guile that Allan/ Murphy gives you.

And we won on Saturday.
What's your point exactly?

Fwiw I wouldn’t have made any subs either.
Thought we were playing better than them with Campbell having a good game.
Game was still to be decided and Allan or Murphy would’ve struggled to close them down as well as Campbell had.
We never lost due to tired legs.

Ross should’ve made a change to try and win it. Dreadful from Hanlon and Porteous for the goal. We still looked poor going forward, very little threat.

Sad but we needed a Josh Campbell on the bench to come on for Josh Campbell about 10mins earlier.
He's been doing very well at closing down space and putting opponent under pressure at the right time. Needs to keep that going but tired badly which is understandable as just finding his feet.

Can you tell me what’s negative about that?

Although I think most people would rightly say that Porteous is an excellent player for Hibs he makes really silly mistakes that almost inevitebly cost us. We didn't deserve to lose this game but the bottom line is that he cost us tonight.
