On paper it looked a good signing. He was obviously signed at the last minute after we couldn't get the St Johnstone target. He was always meant to be a short term solution for a maximum of one year. I seem to remember a lot of talk about the danger of him being recalled at new year.
Due to the performances of Hanlon and Porteous he never really got a look in. The once we did it was, at the time, our worst performance of the season and he, along with others, had a nightmare.
A new manager has come in at Middlesboro and he will want to impress him. He wasn't going to do that here.
Good luck to him. Some things just don't work out.

And he wasn't the worst performer on the pitch in that game! But played one lost one and we will never find out if he was any good once he had settled in.
