Thread: James Scott

  1. #1

    James Scott

Whatís the deal with this guy?

Came in on loan and went straight in the team. Looked slightly unfit and lacking sharpness.

Eventually got dropped and never done much when he came on.

Over a month ago dropped from the squad completely as heís too unfit? How can a player sign and go straight into the team and after a couple of months with us be dropped for being unfit?

Regardless it seems like heíll be in from the cold on Saturday as we need a striker

    Is he actually a striker?

He was there tonight but not stripped. Walked past us at half time.

Not one that gives a **** about being here. If we have to rely on him weíre really in trouble.

Heís not very good and certainly not a striker, from what Iíve seen so far. Might get a chance to prove me wrong at the weekend now.

He was a quick, direct and skilful winger who chipped in with a decent amount of goals, assists and created chances at Motherwell.

God knows whatís happened to him since leaving there other than gaining weight.

Thatís exactly what we need with a suspended Boyle. Where is that player? Honestly - itís ridiculous how heís turned out

He was a signing made at a time of panic.

I've no idea how good a player he actually is. What I do know is he was on his way back from a fairly serious injury and a lengthy spell on the sidelines when he signed. He was never going to hit the ground running. He may well be another Magennis and shine with a full pre season behind him, that's no use to us though.

Cut our losses and send him packing in January. Whatever percentage of his wage we are paying could be spent better elsewhere.

Just another in the long line of Hibs panic buys/loans towards the end of a transfer window.

Nearly all in a bid to cover up our inadequate transfer activity prior to that.

Look forward to more of the same come January.

A classic hibs signing along with wood.

One hasnít kicked a ball in 12 months

The other untried and 19 and we wonder why the squad is down the bare bones.

Itís already cost Mathie his job so I guess there is no point going on about too much. Letís hope we can repair the damage in January.

It was a transfer window you wouldíve expected from hibs pre relegation but itís been unheard recently. Coming back to bite us now

Wood signing is weird as anything.

Our new CEO hasnít a clue about our link up with Brighton. Hearts bring in a centre half from Brighton that is really good and we bring in some young boy from Boro randomly overlooking the boy they got.

Is just lip service all the time when it comes to the club the now.

Hearts signed a LWB from Brighton, not a centre back.

A great day out ruined by the football

Panic signing as was Wood. Neither have improved us or even strengthened the squad and i'd expect both to be away in January.

Thing that gets me is you could see Wood signing was a panic buy after missing out on McCart yet some posters still couldnít admit it. Was clear as day

I thought he was poor in his cameo against Dundee United too. He just isn't good enough at this level and his absence proves it.

Is James Scott a real human being or a metaphysical concept?

Everyone was taken in by that £9m transfer rumour and the fact that he captains the England youth team. No proper first team experience for any great length of time said it all.

I expected more from James Scott.

If it wasn't about players then it should have been. The whole link up/partnership seems to have just been a bit of a PR stunt.

Mathie should have concentrated more on bringing suitable players in than creating pointless link ups with clubs.

Or sold players who we were getting offered money that the management team thought was more than their value and wanted to sell and had players in mind to replace them but seems his personal crusade to break the transfer record ultimately landed us in an absolute mess.

    And breathe lol
