Black Friday half price tickets
-

There goes any savings from 5 game package as one of the games included is part of this.
Understand they are trying to shift tickets but just means the package is pointless especially as you get no priority tickets with it either.Cougars!!!

Flash sales are the order of the day on black Friday. Seems reasonable to me that we use that to boost sales a bit.

Refund the 5 game package and buy all 5 individually?

If they had given me a final ticket before general sale I'd have been ok about this offer 😁.Cougars!!!

The funny thing is I almost forgot it was part of the package and nearly bought a half priced ticket, good job I checked 😂.

The 5 game package was a good deal.
Today lads offer is a good deal.
Both could be claimed diminish the season ticket value.
Or how about we applaude the club for doing something. As a season ticket holder I welcome both these deals if it gets more folk in.

This type of thing happens in American sports so could be a sign of things to come. Its like buying something before Christmas then finding it half price in boxing day sales.

At this time of year with our fixture list it's a great initiative.
Should make these games affordable to quite a few people who otherwise would struggle.

If it sells tickets then good. I tend to see my ST purchase differently from any other purchase I make. More like a donation to charity or a cause I support.

All things considered it is a good decision.
Hope they at least break even on it.
i.e. a loss on the walk ups who would have attended without the deal against the walk ups who take advantage of the deal plus extra catering, shop sales etc.
The only fly in the ointment i can think of is if it is an offer only available to Hibs supporters and Livi and Dundee fans buy tickets for the Hibs end and attend minus colours.
Upside is folk who wouldn't have otherwise attended, visitors to Edinburgh, students, folk interested in football, parents deciding to take their kids along because it is relatively cheap etc etc.
There will be thousands of seats doing nothing for these games so hopefully we can fill a few and improve the atmosphere.

Good initiative by Hibs. Not everyone is in a financial position to buy a season ticket or a 5 game package for that matter, so if it helps people at a difficult time of the year then all good.

Well played hibs. Never seen this before so good to see them trying different things

Great from Hibs - cant believe there are people actually pissing and moaning about this. The club can honestly never do right for some people it seems.

In principle, I think it's a great thing and as a season ticket holder, it doesn't bother me that folk can pick up seats cheaper.
I would be quite happy that Hibs did this for every "non-premium" game
I think the guy above with the 5 game package has a point though, but as I don't know who the 3 or 5 game packages were against, my following comments may be a moot point, if there are games against "premium" teams such as Hearts, The Rangers, Celtic or Aberdeen in there, then I would view it as the price of seeing these "more attractive" fixtures as part of a package
If it was all games against "non-premium" teams then it is definitely IMO devaluing that 3 or 5 game package and they need to be careful both in terms of future uptake and pissing folk off.

No issues from me as a ST holder.
Do feel a bit sorry for people that bought the 5 game package though. They have gone from being a wee bit better off by paying up front to paying more than if they had just bought each ticket individually. It's devalued that offer and may cause an issue if it's offered again.

As a ST holder I’m happy with this.
I can’t see many folk willing to pay the usual 25-30 quid walk-up fee to watch us play livi in the freezing cold, attendances have been poor all season so anything that persuades folk to come support the team I’m all for.
Didn’t pay much attention to the 5 game package so don’t know what was offered.

We surely want to encourage bigger crowds at home games. As a ST holder I have no issues with this at all and happy that my ST rewards me in other ways like today’s priority Cup Final ticket sale
