So, we have a two tier national stadium with a 75,000 capacity and... once in every 100 finals... they only open the bottom tier.

    Problem solved

Sounds good to me. Can we have a Hibs end?

I have (France v New Zealand Rugby World Cup) and was hugely impressed. That development was definitely a stadium success story, but have been in the Aviva Stadium in Dublin and wasn’t that struck by it, and have heard folk say that Wembley has lost a bit of something from the old stadium.
I have been to old Wembley and new one.

New one is outstanding and way way better. I remember sat on a bench on back row of old Wembley. New one is just class.
    Cougars!!!

Certainly, as long as we get seats in the North Stand.

I totally understand people's nostalgia about old stadiums, but the experience didn't always live up to the expectations.

First time I went to Wembley (1983), I was near the back of the lower terrace, and could hardly see the pitch.

We were really far behind the goals, the terrace was really shallow and part of the view was blocked by the advertising boards.

Have I been dreaming or did I not read a while ago that a redevelopment was being looked at which would bring the end stands closer to the pitch.
Remember seeing something on that as well. I think the question was who would stump up the money. There was a stadium abroad which had the same issues and the company involved in doing the work on that stadium said the same thing could be done at Hampden.
