    Pubs for the final

Presumably we’ll not be in the usual Hibs end for the final. Where’s the best places in the ‘other’ end of the stadium to book a bus in to for pre final drinks?

Glasgow Indoor Bowling Club on Prospecthill Rd is one of the nearest to the West Side of Hampden that has it's own parking.

We should get the church on the hill?

Superb boozer, maybe 20 minute walk or so?

Malaga tapas for some food and sangria. Probably just end up in the shed though if I can get a ticket for the game.

What time is the kick off likely to be?

I’ve never done the walk sober 😁

Bumping this thread to see where fellow hibby's are planning on going before the game next week. We've always drank in the city centre but looking for somewhere nearer Hampden with Hibs fans this time

Spaceman has booked us into Brewdog pre match which is a shocking idea.

Back in the day, Hampden was an almost dry area for pubs. Your bus convener would have had to have organised a visit to a social club or whatever beforehand - usually a Labour club or Celtic supporters club.

Castlemilk springs to mind. They'd have a tannoy announcing "Large Vodkas now 50p".

Out of interest, what’s so bad about Brewdog?

Been in a couple of Brewdogs briefly before and don’t mind some of their offerings but wouldn’t claim to be a regular in any of their establishments.

Our bus is booked into the indoor bowling club so have a handy enough location not far from the stadium.

I've never been in a Brewdog pub but I have read a few stories about the Brewdog owners been ********s so I've actively avoided them
