If you were Sevco you’d want to sell Tavenier and keep Patterson for a couple more seasons wouldn’t you?
Nah, boys started about 4 games. Getting a huge fee plus future interest in a player that doesn’t play. Tavernier is their captain and wouldn’t get them anywhere near that money.

Second part of tweet is weird, Trevor Carson plays for Dundee Utd now, not Motherwell!

Good signing. Out of contract with Arsenal at the end of the season, so won’t be costing too much.

Paterson is a whole different level to Doig. Quality player.
To that extent though? £16m? No way.

    He’s a fantastic young player.

Strong, quick, good defender and really good going forward.

Would be very good right of a back 3.

Wonder if it’s permanent or loan?

Permanent going by that article I think.

We’ve done a deal to buy him which has cut short his loan at Ross County? That was my understanding anyway.

    Harry Clarke?

Clarke is a great signing from what I’ve seen

    Just what we need

Excited by that, good competition for Cadden/McGinn.

Maybe an indicator to Paul Mcginns future?

To be fair, that guy is normally bang on from what I’ve seen previously.

I’d imagine he’d slot very well into the right of a back 3 but he’s more than capable of right wing back.

Nathan Paterson is miles better than Doig. Hes KT Robbo potential. Doig isn't anywhere near even Hickey level. I would start Lewis ahead.

If you want a player who can attack and can’t defend then maybe, there is absolutely no way he is on a different level. Take the last game we played where they were direct opponents Doig was far superior

What I find weird about the Harry Clarke one is the fact that it takes him to go on loan to County for us to notice him.

Pre season he started against us and played well imo, he’s also been on loan at Oldham last season.

I suppose you never know how they’ll perform at our level but I would have thought he’d have been a bigger coup than Nathan Wood.

Very excited if this goes through.

Just add Marshall, Mugabi and McGrath

Hopefully a permanent as opposed to a loan until end of the season

Nixon basically spends the entire transfer window tweeting out rumours that he’s hearing, and he’s generally pretty spot on. He’s obviously meant to either comment that Robinson had him at Motherwell or had that in his head and put them in the tweet by mistake.

Clarke is a great signing and I’m much happier with that than Mugabi who’s a pretty limited player imo

Didn't Harry Clarke do a full on Kung fu flying kick tackle against us at Easter Road?

    Got booked.

RC to shop window him. Its exactly the pathway to a bigger club the deal creates.

Arsenal wont make anything financially but it will attract more players to their academy in this type move.

Maybe Malky MacKay’s scouting network was better than The one Jack Ross had.

I was going tk ask that.

I thought he was a centre half but the videos I’ve seen he looks like a right back.

Scored a great goal at Dens Park.

Whilst we’re annoying Ross County we should go one further and do the same with Joseph Hungbo.

Another very good player who would be brilliant in a Maloney set up imo

Hmm I’d disagree young arsenal players moving north of the border attracts more players to join their academy. Players will join Arsenal academy with dreams of playing for Arsenal, not a Scottish club.

Clarke has proved he is a decent player at our level. Wood hadn't then was like a rabbit in the headlights when he was called upon.

If he was Tierney level he’d no have an arse full of splinters from the bench.

Good player, but £16m is a joke. Never worth it.
