    Just seemed to come on sub so many times then pull up. When actual available cos not injured. Surely stats show this? Imo most injured young player recently I’ve observed.

    Another poster mentioned it already but the defeat to Hearts at home he was like a fish out of water. Was so bad i actually felt sorry for him.

    Yep I work with a guy who follows them home and away and he says he’s poor and that’s the general feeling amongst the vast majority of Celtic fans

    He has deleted all his hearts pictures from Instagram . I hope he has cancelled his subscription to the foundation of hearts also. seemingly his name is in the tunnel at the piggery.

    I think he would excell in this side. Every good side needs a heartbeat. The guy who gives the team its tempo and its energy. The guy who moves the ball, then wants it back. Omeonga does that really well. In a way Claros (2nd season) and Fyvie did.
    It's a total myth he was poor in his second spell. He came into a poor side with a change of manager and a season which ended suddenly. It became a thing to say he was poor and he most definitely wasn't.

    I didn’t think he was poor second time round - he just never really got started.

    First time he took a few weeks to get fit then since the team needed him badly he was thrown in and stayed in, playing very well.

    Second time, he took his few weeks to get fit but we’d also signed Docherty. It was harder for him to get into the team at that point. He had the odd decent performance but his last one was that derby debacle, and it lingers a bit in the memory.

    Omeonga’s a cracking player imo and I’d have welcomed him back. Our central midfielders (well, the ones we play anyway) are all a bit samey.
