Yep. We needed one before Doidge got injured and a centre half. We’ve needlessly left those positions short of actual options. We are out of Europe and fallen off the pace league wise as a result.

I think we left it too long hoping to get Mueller in early. Whether Scott was instead of or in addition to Mueller I don’t know. Trouble is Scott looks really poor on his showings so far. Personally I was glad we didn’t pay big money for McCart, he hasn’t convinced me and I certainly wouldn’t be dropping Hanlon or Porteous for him. What I would have preferred was to bring in another centre back on loan with more experience than Wood - I believe we had one lined up but he got injured and we then brought in Wood.
