Probably the least culpable players for today’s performance (both the ones who made it into the park and the ones who didn’t) were the ex St Mirren ones.

You’re having a mare buddy - a lot of teams have good players …it’s about the players not the team …

JDH and Paul McGinn are decent signings too

Aye but broaden your horizon beyond half the St Mirren team. A team that are bottom 6 year in year out

I agree completely . For me McGinn and JDH were along with Macey and maybe Murphy the only players who shouldn`t be disappointed with their contribution today . We all want to see a stronger team and squad but also have to be realistic - Scottish players are tempted by English riches , Brexit restricts imports from Europe , etc etc . Smaller clubs in Spanish Primera sign players in late 20s from Armenia etc on massive wages compared to what we can offer . What we desperately need is the next Riordan and Zemmama . Players who entertain as well as help us win .

I’m probably also just raging at hibs. Agree we need a Deeks or Zemmama or a Benji. If Boyle can’t get involved we are screwed

Our dip in form has coincided with a st mirren signing being out injured

    Difficult to argue with this.

Also, please stop signing loans from poorer English teams (ie Boro), who don't even get a sniff up here. Just why??

    Something wrong at Hibs.

Point is, he’s probably been our best player this season. Despite being a guff signing from St Mirren. Not sure what your daft emoji was trying to indicate tbh. Some wacky stuff around the boards tonight.

And we've not won a game in about as long, I hope we sign McGrath too!

    Yes happy to provide one

Hibs were in the bottom six two seasons ago. In an ideal world Hibs should sign players from the very top sides but don't offer the same salaries.

Is JDH really a decent signing tho? Time will tell but it’s a bit early to call him decent. Would he get in Dons/Jumbos midfield as a starter?

I’ve not seen huge amounts of the laddie play but what I have watched, reminds me of a Brian Hamilton/Neil Orr type player. A steady Eddie. Possibly an upgrade on Gogic?

First five game’s people were claiming him as the signing of the season …he then got injured and hasn’t been as dominant on his return ..but he is a decent player . Better on the ball than Gogic..

He’s not our core issue that’s for sure

In a couple of games St. Mirren could be ahead of us in the league. Perhaps we didn't sign enough of their players!

Seriously though we just need good players from wherever we can source them. Not just numbers but quality and in depth.
