    Celtic Tickets

When are these likely to be on sale? Just over a week away and I can’t seem to purchase a single ticket for the game.

Says a week before, so I am assuming this Wednesday. No idea why they leave it so late

Can season ticket holders purchase extra tickets for this?

Thanks or the heads up - managed to get one right behind my own seat so handy to know for future reference that there’s a free seat if I’m bringing anyone along.

Wasn’t expecting a £33 ticket price mind you

You don’t notice the home prices with the Season Ticket but that’s hefty.

It’s getting too expensive. No just Hibs, £29 for Aberdeen on Saturday.

Can’t see the £33 price doing much to get much of walk up crowd next week, although you can get on for as ‘cheap’ as £31 if you want to sit right at the end of the stand.

Yep as has been discussed previously it will be interesting to see what happens with season ticket prices next season as I think I worked it out that this season a season ticket holder would need to miss 6 home games before their season ticket would no longer be viewed as value for money compared with someone who "pays at the gate" every week.

I might be wrong but I think previously a season ticket holder could only afford to miss 2 home games before paying at the gate every week would be better value.

£33! ****in hell, that’s not going to do much to get punters through the door. Is the game on tv?

Should be capped at £24 across league to get a full stadium with atmosphere.

That will probably help get a few more punters in the stadium.

The result at Aberdeen may help or hinder walk ups.

Midweek, last weeks thumping, likely coming off the back of another loss this weekend and those ludicrous prices will see our lowest crowd against the old firm in many a year - minus last season obviously!!

33 quid for a midweek match in Scotland. I’d not be going at that price if I didn’t have my season ticket

Agreed particularly when you'll presumably be able to watch the game on Hibs TV for £15 since it's not on Sky.

Seems to happen quite often we get them back to back. I think, playing them on Wednesday nights could be a good thing though, under the lights, hopefully a good atmosphere and performance on the back of it.

Yep that is poor. Wonder what the difference in crowd would be between midweek and say Sunday lunchtime personally prefer a midweek to the Sunday 12 time.

Yeah - if the ST prices go up at the same rate next season I can’t imagine I’ll be renewing the 3 I have just now. Pricing me out I think.

Same here. And I never thought I’d be priced out.

My parents are coming over from NI for a visit so I thought I'd treat my Dad to a seat beside us in the Executive seats in the FFU - £44!!

Yeah, that is quite a worrying prospect for season ticket prices.

You'd hope that the owners would realise that if we can get the kind of TV deal Ron thinks the league should have that it would keep Match Day Ticket and Season Ticket prices more than affordable with the objective of filling the stadiums so that they have a good atmosphere which contributes to the overall product of the league.

Yeah and by having a lower ST price the incentive is to buy for the season up front rather than PATG. Those prices will put most off on a one off basis.

If I'm correct with my memory in that season ticket holders used to only have to miss 2 home matches before paying at the gate was more value for money, if we return to that sort of arrangement next year then gold season tickets are going to cost over £500 next season - around a 20% increase.

I'd need to seriously consider my options if that was to be the case.

Hopefully a ploy to increase season ticket sales? By making the season ticket more affordable (I use the term affordable very losely) and much better value than walk-ups, it might encourage people to opt for a season ticket instead of walking up?

Finish top 4 or win a cup they might get away with a few quid raise. Outwith that it would be madness to increase season tickets again as we'll likely see another reduction in sales either way.
