This starts tomorrow with a (definitely not just another qualifier) first round. Scotland are in a group with Bangladesh, Oman and Papua New Guinea. Top 2 go through and Scotland have been in good form so should expect to get through, with the only threat being Oman who are at home and top the second tier ODI league, ahead of Scotland.
Scotland’s first game is tomorrow at 3 against Bangladesh, I don’t expect them to win but should put up a decent fight. All matches are on sky sports…
After that it’s PNG on Tuesday and, a likely winner takes all, against Oman on Thursday.

This is going to be a tough opening game for Scotland, looking forward to it though. C’mon Scotland.

Dreadful start for Scotland Coetzer goes for a duck. 5 for 1 and nearly 3 overs gone.

Coetzer is probably the only top order batsman not to get a score this summer, so not too worried in terms of what is to come. Potentially coming towards the end of his time as captain though.

Cross out for 11 but Munsey now well set. 45-2.
Next in is Berrington, most in form player this summer.

52-5, this is now really poor unfortunately. Not sure there is much batting to come either.

And now there goes Macleod. Such a disappointing performance from a lot of batters.

This is getting embarrassing. The games gone now, they need someone to stick around for a bit to steady the ship.

End of the innings: 140-9. Something to bowl at.

140 probably won’t be enough, but it’s a decent total from where they were at 55 for 6.

8-1 in the 2nd over. Really need a few more fast but that’s a decent start.
