    Dylan Tait

Scored in his latest game for Raith.

I just read that from today he is training with us on a Monday and Tuesday before reporting back to Rovers. Good idea that.

Welcome to hibs Dylan and good luck.

Watched the highlights and after amlmost making a mess of it he scored a decent goal 😁

Seen him maybe 6 or 7 times and he looks a very good player. In fact Rovers have a few decent players and play some very nice football.

Is he joining in January or after the end of the season?

Tin hat firmly on however apart from an obvious failing McGlynn is a very good coach especially at that level I’d be suprised if he’s not in demand after the panic buttons start getting pressed in the premier league

looks to have a good physique and strength for a teenager too. I'm quite excited about seeing him at Hibs. Let's hope he gets a chance in the first team early, he's obviously developed quickly because he's had plenty of game time at Raith, so it wouldn't be good for his development if he drops back to reserve team football.

My Rovers mates say he's a very good player. Obviously a big step up from Raith Rovers to Hibs but he's young enough to adapt.

I agree. He has done a great job at Raith Rovers. They play good football and punch well above their budget and that is down to McGlynn.

Him and Mueller will be two big signings for us in January. Hopefully we will punt the boys from England back down the road.

I must be losing it - who is David Mitchell he refers to that comes in from Glasgow?

I know he was signed as cover for the bench in case of injury but surely we could look at a young keeper for that and develop him at the same time.

Depends if said goalkeeper is deemed ready and is not on loan himself

Maybe brought in to help with coaching going forward? Especially if we are having this development/u23 squad?

I see Hibs have asked Raith not to play today vs Falkirk so he's not cup tied.

He seems like a good lad. Not sure about his choice of curries though.

I'm looking forward to see him play for us, hopefully he'll do well.

Thanks for sharing that good insight into Dylan. Hope it works well for him another young talent joining the squad. Thought the interviewer and questions were very good also.

I agree with you, McGlynn's done a good job there, but IMO that's where he's best, he didn't exactly set the heather alight when he was at Hearts. Just my opinion though.

Tbf , he picked up the Hearts job when they were in admin..had to rely on the youngsters they had . Got to the league cup final , but couldn’t keep them up after their points deduction and restrictions . Don’t think he can be judged negatively for that role at that time .

He took over the team that won the cup. He was binned well before (18 months) their relegation.

That’s right (largely). I was thinking that was the season they (and we ) went down. It was the one before - he lasted until February of 2013. still, he was hamstrung largely by their financial situation - not sure how well he can be judged on that stint…

Watched this whole interview again and it showed a mature young man who is appreciative of those who have helped with his development so far.

Also a good professional interviewer - credit to Raith Rovers TV

Look forward to seeing Dylan in the Green and White
