Going to look very smart, my Daughters friend is a season ticket holder in the East, funny thing is, she is a Midwife and her seat will be in the C section 😵
    👍🤗😁
There is no such thing as too much yarn, just not enough time.

Must admit, one of the attractions I found with Easter Road compared to other stadiums was the uniformity of an unblemished blanket of dark green seats round the whole stadium. Will wait and see what it looks like but don’t think I’ll be changing my mind.
I agree. There was something old school and traditional about it. It’s a bit like a strip without a sponsor. I’m sure the new version will still look decent though.

    United we stand here....

And the dark green padded ones...

    Supporter-club collaboration project/volunteering..

No offence to anyone who went along to help but seems a bit cheeky from the club to ask fans to do it for nothing when we do actually have money in the bank and assets for selling in the near future..

What in the same way as Sunderland fans etc done it for massive parts of the stadium? Don’t see it cheeky at all it’s our club why wouldn’t we want to work with those running it to help out. Bizarre view IMO

The opportunity for fans to play a direct part in the development of the club's home will have been seen as a really exciting one for some I'm sure.

Helping to save the club thousands of pounds and creating a tangible mark on the ground for the foreseeable future doesn't sound cheeky to me either. Can't fathom that at all.

Absolutely superb effort from those that went along, by the way. Very nice work.

I can personally take this one or leave it. It's not something I've ever been particularly bothered about, especially since it's something which will only be noticeable when the stadium's lying empty.

I realise I'll probably be in the minority though and most people on here seem to be excited by it so fair play.

I think it's a great idea. Will be heading along myself when a weekend is confirmed.

Looks cool, but sprucing up the outside and interior of the stands would be welcome too

It's really difficult to decipher what that's going to spell out? lol

That would make sense. Part of naming it The Hanlon Stand.

Would work better in a 2 tier stand? We could have the Heckingbottom and Heckingtop levels 😁

They're doing the last letter first. There's an 'F' and 'T' to do.

If slave labour is your thing then crack on. Hibs as a business turn over way more money than I'll ever have and Ron is worth an insane amount too. So if I've got free time to volunteer I'd far rather be using it to help someone who's worse off than I am.

It's not slave labour though, is it?

Voluntary work is far different from slave labour, people are delighted to get a chance to do something to help the club so I don't see where your problem is to be honest.

If you help someone worse off than yourself and you help out ( which you are to be congratulated for by the way) is that slave labour?

Very itelligent input to the debate. You must've been popular at school.

I think you will find that fans asked if they could help and the Club agreed. F all to do with slave labour. Any excuse to have a go at the Club.

IMO it's preying on good hibees' love for the club to get something done for nothing. If we were in financial turmoil I'd get it but now? Pay good local tradespeople to do the work if you really care about the community.

The idea came from the fans who were willing to help out, not the other way about

Different things altogether. Would you volunteer to help Trump fix up his golf course?

Nope, it isn't really, the club needed volunteers back when we were formed for all sorts. And I haven't followed trump for 30 odd years, I have hibernian, I love hibernian, so do others. Its a honour to help out the club. Saves the club money, and you go on about different things all together?

It's about being part of the community and helping out. Good on the supporters helping out.
