This could be huge for us.

2 things - I thought his last game before getting injured, the one against Ross County, is as accomplished a "number 9" performance as I've seen from a Hibs striker in some time.

The second - it takes for you to lose him for a bit to really appreciate what he brings to the table. He'd have been very useful to have available, on so many levels, against Hearts last week. I won't be taking him for granted when he returns, even if some of those misses are very frustrating indeed.

Totally agree. His performances against Ross County and to a lesser extent when he came on against Rijeka at home were great. It just felt like he was really hitting top form again when he got injured.

Looking forward to seeing the big man back in action and seeing him celebrate scoring goals again, you can see how much it means to him.

Love the big man's work ethic. I'm not going to write off Scott just yet but the fact he was considered a form of replacement for Doidge as a forward option just makes the difference in the attributes we are missing even more stark.

That's good news.Would be happy if we can get Murphy back for the Dundee Utd game in a months time. October will be a tough month. League games again both sides of the Old Firm and most importantly away at Aberdeen. To see Doidge back in 2 months time would be something else. 8 league games to play before then (20th Nov)

Delighted with this news. And could be early November according to Jack Ross.

Sounds like both injury (not as bad) and recovery (much quicker) better than expected. If it’s early Nov that 7 weeks away.

Murphy brings us great balance on the left. So good to hear he isn’t far away. With Cadden back and the other short term injuries gone the bench should start to look much stronger.

Testiment to both players fitness and our medical team that they're ahead of schedule.

Maybe he’s been keeping off his injured leg and getting about using one of these scooter things that Humzah Yousaf has been using after his own injury. And using it better than this.

Just came on to comment how handsome he is.

At least 3rd in the squad, arguably 2nd.

Hope we get him tied up on a new deal before January. There isn’t a player in the league like him.
