I recall a game at Ibrox while Roy was with Hibs. Rangers kicked off. One Rangers forward tapped the ball to another to kick off. Roy came steaming through from the edge of the centre circle and kicked the receiver straight up in the air. He then walked up to the referee, with his hands folded behind his back, and visibly said “ Roy Barry” before the man in black had time to fumble his book out of his pocket (pre yellow card days, I think!). The seethe if that were to happen now
