Team GB going really well so far, sitting second so far behind China.

Fantastic win for Britain earlier today in the wheelchair rugby, winning gold against the USA. It's Britain's first ever rugby medal at the Paralympics and they're the first European nation to win a Paralympic medal in the sport since it started in 2000.

Still another week of competition to go and I'm looking forward to it. It's so important to give disability sport a platform and bring it to the attention of a wider audience.

Hopefully GB can hang onto second place and match 2016.

He only took up the sport after watching the 2012 Paralympics!

Fantastic gold medal for cyclist Sarah Storey as she becomes Britain's joint most successful Paralympian ever by winning her 16th gold medal.

Fellow cyclist also won gold on day 7 and GB still sit second in the medal table with 28 gold, 22 silver and 23 bronze medals so far.

Sarah Storey becomes GB's most successful Paralympian of all time! She won her 17th gold medal today by defending her C4-5 road race title.

Fantastic achievement!

Britain's Crystal Lane-Wright finished seven seconds behind to take silver.

It was a GB one-two in the men's C1-3 race too, Ben Watson winning his second gold with Fin Graham claiming silver in atrocious conditions in Tokyo.

However wheelchair tennis player Gordon Reid failed to defend his men's singles title with a 6-3 6-2 defeat to top seed and home favourite Shingo Kunieda while Jordanne Whiley missed out in the women's singles semi-finals, losing 6-4 6-2 to Diede de Groot of the Netherlands. Both will now play for bronze.

Yesterday David Smith retained his BC1 individual boccia title.

Overall GB remains in second place in the medal table, but only just!

GB have 32 gold, 26 silver and 32 bronze medals, whereas the Russian Paralympic Committee have 32 gold, 20 silver and 37 bronze medals.

Its a fantastic achievement, over 8 Olympics is absolutely crazy, but IMHO she's tainted by the British cycling scandals, which makes it kind of hard to believe. The retrospective TUE she got for failing a drugs test at London 2012 is pretty suspicious IMHO.

Over 100 medals now for GB - three more golds added to canoeist Emma Wiggs and athletes Jonathan Broom-Edwards and Owen Miller.

Still second in the medals table - 37 gold, 34 silver and 40 bronze.

Richard Whitehead only managed silver as he aimed to get a third successive 200m Paralympic title.

Still 2 days left and GB have already almost matched their tally from London 2012 desite having more than 60 fewer athletes in Tokyo.

I've enjoyed the Paralympics. The Japanese have put on a great show both here and at the Olympics and it's a shame more people weren't able to see it live.

Highlight for me was Ntando Mahlangu taking the 200m gold. Richard Whitehead has been a stalwart in that race for so long. It was a proper changing of the guard moment but the mutual show of respect at the end was a great touch from both men.
